Phoenix Rising Institute of Martial Arts Reviews
My 6 yrs old daughter started her training with coach John and coach Kurisu this summer now continuing to the fall. It’s a really cool place for little ones to have some exercise and learn good attitudes towards challenges in life. In addition this place is not one of those heavily commercialized martial arts place. All coaches teaches with passion. For those of you who couldn’t reach the place via phone call or email, just keep trying.😀. Also feel free to drop by. They are open daily from 4-5 for sure.
September 26 · Le HongMy kids were active in LMAS from pre-school into their teens. We were immediately impressed with the instructors. We realized early on though, that in addition to the physical skills, the instructors reinforce the same values we try to instill in our kids. Mr. Drath, Mr. Gurung and the other instructors are just as fantastic working with 4-year-olds as they are working with teenagers and adults. They work to improve the skills of each student and as a parent, I appreciate that as each of my kids have different needs. I can't recommend Mr. Drath and Lamorinda Martial Arts Studio highly enough!!
July 22 · Sylvia Wikler FingerLMAS is great! Overall, the studio provides a positive space for exercising, gaining confidence and learning martial arts. The instructors are encouraging and highly skilled at teaching Taekwondo. My two children and I have been with the studio for five years now and enjoy regularly learning and practicing the sport.
August 05 · Terri LyonGreat place to be. The teacher is a little hard, but he likes to crack jokes.P.S. ari is ragingp.p.s if you don't know who ari is, he got put into an easier class from the one that he was in because he was misbehaving. he then left the studio because he was mad that he got demoted. he was really angry about it lol
January 29 · ParzingToday I took some children who sometimes I attend as babysitter and I said to myself "I like this place to recommend it" It is excellent way in which the instructor directs the class
