★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1When I first brought my son here he was struggling with finding his own identity. He was always quiet and going through life under the radar. And within the first few months he gained so much confidence, his self esteem had grown so much, for that reason alone I am forever grateful to Victory. As a parent we are afraid for our children, afraid that they will be hurt not only physically but emotionally. And Victory has eased my nerves and anxiety because now when I send my son to school I know he will be okay and will protect himself and keep safe while being a respectful young man. Thank You Victory you have made a difference to us all!!!
September 08 · Erica Calistro-RamirezParents beware. This business is aggressive, predatory, and either unaware — or willfully ignorant — of basic California consumer protection laws. When I attempted to cancel in person, I was assured someone would follow up — but no one did. Instead, they continued billing me, even after my daughter stopped attending. My formal in-person cancellation was ignored, and the business has since tried to collect on charges that are both ethically and legally indefensible. Now, instead of resolving the issue, the business is pressuring me to cancel my credit card dispute and demanding an additional $200 just to finalize the cancellation. This is nothing short of coercive and unethical. The management’s behavior throughout this process has been combative, dismissive, rude, and completely lacking in professionalism or basic interpersonal skills. Rather than acknowledge their legal obligations, they double down on pressure tactics and attempt to guilt parents into paying for unused services. To make matters worse, the business fails to disclose total costs upfront — so let me be transparent for you:I paid $1,112.03 out of pocket, plus $309.26 (which I am currently disputing) — all for barely two months of actual attendance. And now they’re disputing a cancellation that was fully compliant with California law (Civil Code §1812.84(c)).At this point, I’m only requesting a single chargeback related to the unlawful May 2025 charge — which was not only warranted, but necessary, as I was left with no other recourse. However, if this escalates, I am seriously considering disputing the full amount as fraudulent, based on the deceptive and unlawful conduct involved.I am also actively exploring a class action lawsuit to hold this business accountable and potentially shut down these abusive practices. Based on numerous public reviews, I know I’m not alone. I’d be genuinely curious to see how a judge would respond to this kind of behavior in court.Victory Martial Arts Santa Teresa prioritizes profit over ethics, hides behind unenforceable and unethical Florida-based contracts, and shows blatant disregard for California law. If you're considering enrolling your child here, read the fine print — and read every review from families who’ve been burned by the same shady tactics.
May 15 · Oleksii MandrychenkoThey learn karate and a lot of values. All the staff are very good with kids. For about 1800$ for a full year, you can go many times per week, lot of value. Classes are generally about 6-10 children per group. Nice cleaning sue to Covid, they respect the 6 feet and parent can sit outside and see the class.
October 10 · Patrick DesjardinsOur daughter was born with cleft lip and cleft pallet where she has struggled over the years with comments and stares.Within a few weeks of the program my daughter’s confidence has started to build along with her discipline. We have taken advantage of all the time available for our daughter to attend. We have committed for a year and look forward to continuing this journey.Thank you all
August 25 · Robert ThomasThe staff has become like family! They care for each of their students like their own. My kids have become stronger physically, mentally and emotionally. The curriculum that ties together life skills with the forms is why we started, but we stick around for all of that and the community/family that has been created! I would recommend to anyone and everyone! 🤩
