I brought my son in for one of the free classes to see how he would do. Before we came i looked on the Facebook . The classes sizes seemed small. Called and texted Craig told him my son has autism he said it would be best to start him with the 4/5 year olds, my son Is 5 so that worked out. Even during scheduling that's the age group that was advertising in the 6:00 time block. When we get there they don't start until 6:08 because another class ran over okay cool. I admit my son was excited running around who wouldn't be there first time doing something new. They brought him back when he was upset and someone made the comment "don't bring himBack in until he calms down" to another worker . So we are sitting in the room until 6:15 untilSomeone comes and gets him. There also was an exchange between Craig and one of the employees who was about to leave and Craig told him to stay because he needed help starting to class the employee seemed annoyed but stayed . When my child finally is allowed to come in they immediately tell him get in line I see the class size it is 7 kids per instructor with 4 instructors in the room so about 28 kids in total . . Also the age range seemed to be 4,5,6,7 year olds . And of course my child is in the group with the instructor that was already asked to stay after stating he was leaving . He also made the comment to my child "you won't do anything if you don't get in line ." He ment just that . Each instructor ignored my child until 6:26 when I asked Craig to bring him because it was obvious it was a waste of my time and theirs . Craig tried to do a half effort hold a paddle to my child but I wasn't interested in trying anymore with this company. I understand some kids were used to the routine and older, but it seemed there was only 2 new kids starting that day and my child was one of them so I would have made sense to try to explain and get themAcclimated or maybe my child missed that time period when they were "waiting for himTo calm down ." Oh well everything is not for everybody and this was one of those situations. I would hope the staff learns a little more patience and understanding when dealing with different children but it's a learning experience for everyone at the cost of my child . The best part was it was a free trial because we spent no more than 10 minutes in the class .

Taekwondo Works has been such an amazing experience for my son. He loves going, has grown more confident in so many different areas of life and it's been incredible to watch him learn, grow, and flourish. Craig, David, and Chris have been kind and patient with him and he looks forward to his classes each week. I couldn't recommend Taekwondo Works more highly!

I was really impressed by the staff at Taekwondo Works. You can see it's all about helping the kids grow and become more disciplined people, all while getting in shape and learning a great martial art. Definitely for kids and adults alike. You will find a home here.

Taekwondo Works is a great martial arts school. My son started out with traditional taekwondo quite a few years ago. He spent a couple years in the after school program as well. He’s also been competing in Olympic style sparring here for about 5 years now. He loves it! Master Craig Simpson, Alexa, David and Chris are all incredible instructors and coaches!
