April 02 · Santa OrtizI have been taking my 4 year old to classes here for the last 6 months. Best decision I could have made. At first, I thought he would be too young to grasp the concept, but the LVMA staff in Brooklyn are so kind, patient, and supportive. He is more confident, disciplined, and has made so many friends along the way. They are very accommodating with classes and the after-school / summer programs. If you want your child to have the qualities of a leader, this is the place to go!
May 09 · Jocelyn GThe After School Program is great! I can always relay on the staff helping my son to finish his homework, and his grades have improved dramatically.! It’s is also great that the after school program includes a taekwondo class so he also stays active ! Definitely recommend
January 28 · dayana chimboMy 7 year old son and 13 year old sister have been attending this establishment for about 3 months; and they really enjoy the atmosphere and support that all instructors and children alike provide for each other.
May 16 · Amber LopezI joined L. V. M. A. last year as part of the adult class, because I was looking for a way to get stronger and learn self defense. I wasn't sure what to expect since I was the oldest student in the class. But it turned out to be one the best decisions I've ever made.In less than a year I went from knowing nothing about martial arts to fighting in my first tournament, earning a yellow belt and being able to break boards with my bare hands!Master Leon has a talent for working with students of all ages and skill levels and really makes you feel like you are part of a team. At LVMA we don't just learn choreographed moves and fancy kicks (although we do that too!) The class is a great mix of strength building workouts, practicing techniques, and for the more advanced students, lots of actual sparring.Master Leon's passion for taekwondo is inspiring. In the dojang, we learn so much more than just how to fight. We learn who we are, our strengths and weaknesses, and what it takes to achieve our goals in life, like patience, teamwork, respect, dedication, determination, and good old fashioned grit.I will be forever grateful for everything I've learned at LVMA, and for getting the chance to be a part of the Elite Team. Thank you Master Leon and everyone, for always believing in me and pushing me to reach my potential. It's only been a year so far, but I already can't imagine my life without Taekwondo!.
