The gym provides a safe, friendly atmosphere and it is amazing what a great workout you get in one hour! Students range from 16 to 60, men and women.I had worked out in other ways over the years but had never done kickboxing before. It is definitely challenging at first but in 2-3 weeks, you get in the groove for both the conditioning and the kick-boxing parts. And it's way more fun than programs like Orange Theory or just lifting weights.I highly recommend Strong Martial Arts. It really is a great workout option for all skill levels.

It has been three months since he joined the Strong Martial Arts. His friend who has been a student there for the past 3 years recommended it. My son is very happy about all the cool moves he has been learning at the Strong Martial Arts. They have their own app which makes it very convenient to book classes, all the information I need is on the app. We absolutely love this place and highly recommend who is considering sending their kids here. They offer free trial classes which is great.
July 25 · Choeying “BeautifulLifeChoeying”I can't say enough about this school. The instructors are so caring and really invested in seeing the children grow. My 4 year old has been attending for 3 months. In this short time, we can see that her confidence and social skills have improved. Not only that but she is really learning Taekwondo. She will be advancing to a yellow belt soon and we are so proud. We made a wonderful choice with Moon Sung Lee Martial Arts and recommended to all!!
March 07 · Ivelisse CorreaI had zero kickboxing experience but I decided to try the adult kickboxing class at the strong martial arts (hey why not, only $20 for 3 classes introductory offer and I need to get rid of this Covid weight gain) and after the 3 classes, I signed up for a monthly membership and here is why. 1) The instructor is extremely professional, patient and attentive, making sure that everyone was doing what we were supposed to, safely. 2) Zero judgment and everyone is friendly. 3) The studio is very clean. 4) Classes are small enough that you get plenty of individual attention. After about 4 weeks I can feel myself getting a bit stronger and it’s a great way to not only burn calories but to relieve stress. I highly recommend!
May 15 · Uri KimI love iLoveKickboxing in Astoria! The classes are a lot of fun and I feel like I'm getting a great workout every time. I started taking classes in June after procrastinating about joining for a few months, and I'm so glad that I did! I am definitely more fit than when I started.The 15 minutes of conditioning at the beginning can be difficult, but its definitely gotten easier for me and I like the challenge. The bag rounds are so much fun and satisfying, especially the kicks! Each class is different, both with conditioning and the bag combos, so it never gets boring. I really enjoy working out with the music they play during class, it’s fun and helps me to keep up my pace (Shout out to Justin for his excellent song selections).Also I love all of the instructors! They are so nice and motivate you to work harder and improve, and give good advice for improving technique. They are each especially good in certain areas, and I really like that they team up to lead the different parts of the class. Special shout out to the instructor who taught my first class, Gabby, who is amazing and always seems so happy to be there, she makes you excited to be there too.Kickboxing is a wonderful workout, and it really makes you feel like you are getting more control over your body and how it looks/what you can do. I feel more empowered from taking these classes, and I enjoy working out with other women (and men!) who are having the same experience.The new gym is super nice too - I was so excited when they opened it and also added more classes to the schedule. Come check it out! I think its totally worth it.
