Customer reviews offer different perspectives on the school's environment. One review notes a negative experience on a first day, which led to an uncomfortable feeling and a decision not to return. This is an important consideration for anyone looking for a martial arts school, as finding the right fit in terms of atmosphere is crucial. Another review provides a more balanced view, highlighting that while the school may not focus on tournaments or competitions, it is an "okay place to learn" and that the instructor is effective at teaching discipline and humility to children. This suggests that the school's focus is more on the internal and practical aspects of martial arts rather than on the competitive side. The instructor's ability to instill discipline and keep students "humble" is a positive point for parents seeking these qualities in their children. The various reviews underscore that the school's strengths lie in its structured approach to teaching the art itself, providing a place for students to focus on fundamental skills. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My first day there the main instructor twisted my arm in front of everyone. I felt like it was a slight hazing or bullying, and me being the only gay person in the room I felt uncomfortable and a little targeted intentionally. I never returned and today I finally paid off a year long contract I signed with them. If you are visibly lgbt I would not recommend this place...
July 18 · Joseph BahenaIt’s an okay place to learn, though, if you’re looking for a place with tournaments or competitions this school is not it. The instructor as well isn’t as good anymore. The instructor is doing well with discipline and keeping the kids humble, though, insulting and making fun of a child isn’t the best way.
May 12 · valesvrgParents BE AWARE>>>I filled a complaint about a bait-and-switch tactic done by this company.I took my kids for a trial lesson in August, and the owner, Kwang H, gave me a paper to sign, noting that it was to save my kid's spot in case I decided to join. He specifically told me I didn't have to pay anything. Never told I was signing a contract. I specifically told him I was not ready to join yet. Fast forward to November I got a call saying I signed a contract and owed them money. I am speechless at this company's lack of transparency, blunt trickery, and cunning toward parents trying to survive day in and day out. I feel deeply misled by the owner of this company. My children visited one day for the trial lesson only.
December 18 · Claudiana NorthThis place is really good! My kid absolutely loves it, and I can see his constant progress. He loves coming here and I do, too. The masters of Tae Kwon Do here are very knowledgeable, professional and patient.
June 09 · Ewelina SandillVery cool place, the master is one to meet and his students take pride in what they teach. I did the trial class for a few weeks and loved it. The process when stating the class all the way to finishing the hour lesson. They have great instructors and a great location. There is street parking available and usually you can find a spot if you drive around for a few minutes. The only thing I take one star form is the sales process of signing up. If you have the money and time to spare this seems to be a great place to be. The have adult and kids classes available.
