What is worth choosing
When it comes to choosing a martial arts school in New York, the options can be overwhelming. Supreme Martial Arts Upper East Side stands out for several key reasons, many of which are highlighted in the enthusiastic reviews from its community members. The most significant factor is the quality of the instructors. As one parent noted, the teachers "strike a good balance of being firm yet kind," which is a crucial quality for effective and positive teaching, especially with children. They are described as "energetic, fun, and super cool," and their passion for Taekwondo is palpable, making classes something the kids "absolutely love coming here." This positive reinforcement and genuine enthusiasm from the staff create an environment where students don't just learn skills but also develop a lifelong love for the discipline.
The school’s communication with parents is another point of praise, described as "smooth and responsive." This is an essential aspect for any family-oriented business, ensuring that parents are always in the loop and can feel confident in the care and instruction their children are receiving. While the space itself is not described as large, it is acknowledged as being "more than enough for kids to be active and play," proving that size is less important than the quality of instruction and the atmosphere. The school's commitment to community is also a huge draw. They host "fun events from time to time," including the popular "Parents' Night events." May 27 · Anika SarafThis taekwondo class has been a special part of my son’s life since age 3. It’s wonderful to watch how each teacher is kind, friendly and makes the sessions engaging for the toddlers while also still slowly help them develop discipline and skills. We have enrolled our younger daughter as well and highly recommend this location and its flexible schedule.
