★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have had my daughter training with Sensei Daisuke Matsumoto since the summer of 2021. My kid loved the dojo camp experience! Then when she started attending Success Academy, which have half days on Wednesday. He was very accommodating. I have seen the difference from other dojos that just promote the kids to just get a higher belt. He is very traditional and very respectful. Very family oriented. He is strict but fair. I remember my kid telling me she lost a stripe. Turns out she was throwing a medicine ball. Just happy no one got hurt. So he does discipline the kids. Love watching all the kids grow and get stronger and confident.
August 25 · Miguel HernandezI can't say enough good things about this karate school. Finding a place that feels like family, right here in our neighborhood, has been such a gift. What truly sets this dojo apart is the sensei's dedication. He communicates with me regularly, and it's clear he's personally invested in every student. My son has ADHD, and motivating him has always been a real struggle for us. I was worried about him sticking with it, but the sensei's unique ability to connect and motivate him has been incredible. He didn't just teach him karate; he made him feel seen and capable. Now, my son is happy, eager to go to class, and he's learning so much more than just moves—he's building confidence. In a city like this, knowing my child can defend himself is a top priority, and this school provides that invaluable skill. But more than that, it has become a place of community. It's a supportive environment where my son feels encouraged, respected, and part of something special. I am so grateful to have found this family.

You really need to earn your belt, there’s regular sparing sessions and ample opportunities to attend tournaments. Our Sensei is very supportive, other kids are friendly and it’s like a community. We are happy we found this Dojo.
August 14 · Upasana AgarwalIf you are looking for Dojo where you want to learn Japanese authentic Karate, you shall go train at this Dojo. Sensei Daisuke Matsumoto is an amazing, skilled and knowledgeable teacher/master who offers diverse classes for both adults and kids to be stronger spiritually and physically through learning Kumite (full contact fights), Kata (forms) and Weapon Kata (forms with various weapons). And the students have many opportunities to join the Karate tournaments and competitions to show their skills and learn from the results. Sensei Daisuke has video review of each student at each tournament for improvements and next challenges. The Dojo is friendly, warm, fun environment and clean. And the classes are inexpensive and there is free trial class on Saturday morning everyone can try how they are doing and experience real Japanese martial arts.Highly recommend!!My son has been training at this Dojo and he learned so much from Sensei Daisuke and become a great fighter to win many championships and kind and polite person to everyone. I cannot say thank you enough to Sensei.
July 30 · Yoshinori NitoThis is our family’s 3rd year at the dojo.As working parents, they are very convenient and accommodative with their SA pickup- which was why we first joined. However, we were pleasantly surprised that we got more than that. The dojo community has a positive, loving, encouraging atmosphere/attitude. The Sensei and Senpai’s will lovingly instill grit, resilience, manner, and structure. The older/seasoned dojo students mentor the younger students creating a positive team dynamic. The parents are compassionate and encouraging of others creating a neighborly community without any pressure of having to engage or involve to keep up with the community. The dojo is a support system that has a goal to help rear your kids. My kids love being there!
