October 02 · K OOur daughter joined this past summer and I can’t believe how quickly she has taken to karate.Sensei Bill and his staff have made the entire experience welcoming and exciting for her.Her first exposure was from a birthday party; she was nervous about getting on the floor. Sensei Bill engaged and encouraged her; got her mixed into the group right away. Fast forward five months and now she is looking for her next tournament to compete in.Her classes have given her additional courage, respect, discipline and sense of belonging. She looks forward to her classes each week and can’t wait to earn her next belt. She likes all of her instructors and one day hopes to be a black belt!Thank you Norwin Ninjas for all your hard work!
December 19 · Eisie BuddaieThis program is fantastic. The kids start to learn Japanese at a young age, they get to learn karate and they have a lot of fun too. I have been extremely happy with this program, school and the instructors. The whole thing is a first class organization. There is not a better choice in the North Huntingdon area!
June 13 · Anthony HladekFamily ran, great customer service and friendly staff and students! Karate has helped my daughter find a positive way to interact with others, learn respect for authority figures and build friendships with kids from different communities. Thank you Viola family and all the other teachers for volunteering your time and energy!
October 02 · Melissa BostardMy older son started his journey with Allegheny Shotokan(Norwin Ninjas) when he was 7 years old. We picked this particular dojo because it encompassed every aspect of our child’s life, not just the karate part of his life. They focus on everything from school life to our home life. They not only teach the children to be respectful at the dojo, but also to be respectful at home. To work hard at school, do the best that you have in you. And when you do, share that with the dojo. They celebrate those school milestones...i.e Norwin Knight award, Science Fair awards, etc. My son has grown into a confident, young man with the help from his karate family. Yes, we consider the dojo(teachers, students, parents) part of our family. And now our youngest son, age 7, is following in his big brother’s footsteps. He started last year and loves it just as much as his big brother does.
