★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had the pleasure of dropping in for a Judo class at JMAC last year, and I'm so glad I did! The class was incredibly well-organized and effectively taught. The instructors were not only kind but also remarkably patient, creating a welcoming environment. Plus, the facility itself was clean & well-maintained. I truly had a great time and highly recommend JMAC's Judo program to anyone interested!
June 19 · K GI started taking Judo classes 4 months ago. This is my first martial art and I was nervous to start this in my 40's. This is the most fun I have ever had doing a sport or other physical activity. The director, instructors, and dojo community at large have all been excellent and very welcoming. The classes are intense but accessible. Like all sports, Judo does have a risk of injury, but the folks here have always been willing to move at my pace and modify/moderate things to help keep me safe. The atmosphere is positive, inclusive and fun. If you are looking to try Judo, or any other martial art offered here I highly recommend JMAC!
March 17 · d bWords really cant describe the impact JMAC has had on our family. The instructors are top notch! They are supportive, kind, safe, and welcoming. They have helped build my son’s confidence and physical strength, and he has also found a great group of new friends. I started judo at 49 years old and the instructors have helped me realize my potential physically and mentally. I highly recommend JMAC!
October 23 · Petra HindererI consider myself so lucky each time I train here. The instructors take great pride in their work and make every effort to be inclusive and kind. My teammates put in extraordinary work as well. Because of this, we grow together. It is a powerful and transformative experience. JMAC truly helps people be the best versions of themselves, and I am grateful for this.7.31.25My previous review was from over a year ago, and I thought I should add to it. I started at JMAC in April of 2023 with the Nihon Jujutsu program. In July of 2023 I participated in my first JMAC crucible, 12 hours of training Including striking, clinch fighting, judo, jujutsu, BJJ, wrestling takedowns, and more. Each segment is incredibly well paced with short breaks built in. 50+ people on the mat, some of which came from other countries. Everyone helps each other get through the 12 hours with love, encouragement, and grit. Going through that first crucible changed me in a way that I am forever grateful for. It made me realize I can do so much more than I thought I could. As a result, I had the confidence to at Judo as a second martial art. It is now 2025, and I completed my third crucible in July. Today, I am taking a second intro lesson to karate. I look forward to training here for the rest of my life. It's so much more than training, it is a community of people who want to help each other be their best selves, on and off the mats. Thank you JMAC - I am truly blessed and grateful to be a part of something so special.
July 31 · Crystal O'RourkeThe instruction here is first rate. All of the instructors are very patient with newer martial artists and everyone else. All of the instructors are accepting of everyone. My daughter and I are enrolled in the Iaido program and every class has been a great learning experience. We have observed the other programs also and it seems everyone is having fun.
