★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My husband and I have been attending adult beginner JJ classes for about 2 months and can’t say enough great things about this school. The instructors are dedicated and excited to teach. It’s a welcoming learning environment without aggression or competition and everyone is very collegial with one another. Learning a new skill as an adult can be intimidating but this is truly a great place to learn. I would certainly recommend to anyone who is hoping to learn a new skill and self defense.
August 13 · Cassandra RoselloThe best place I could have found to start my jiu-jitsu journey! Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, the environment feels safe, and the instructors are so good at going through every step to make sure you feel comfortable. 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting to learn.
September 11 · Sarah KozachenkoMy son is 7 years old and was a bit apprehensive trying Gracie out given a less than awesome experience at a different jiu-jitsu school, but after his first class he was here he was hooked! The teachers are absolutely excellent and the curriculum is structured in a way that keeps kids engaged, learning and most importantly having fun. I highly recommend giving them a try.
May 06 · Christine HolcombAfter attending 2 other martial arts, we found one that our son loves. Seattle Gracie makes the learning fun with super fun warmups, substituting an enemy with an animal that doesn’t understand English, and freeze ball at the end of class. He’s 7 yo. The 10 day free trial was perfect for checking out Jiu Jitsu and also the Seattle studio.
July 11 · Tiff KoehnMy teen daughter and I have been taking Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Self Defense classes together, and I can't recommend them enough! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, making sure everyone feels comfortable and empowered. I love that we get to learn these important life skills together in such a fun and encouraging environment. This class is not just about self-defense—it's about building strength, awareness, and resilience. If you're thinking about joining, do it! You won’t regret it!
