★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We absolutely love this place! We started our son Andrew here almost a year ago, he’s made so many friends, his confidence has sky-rocketed, and he’s learned a ton. The instructors are wonderful and patient giving just the right amount of discipline mixed with fun. My husband joined a few months ago and I plan on joining along with our youngest when he is old enough for the tiny tigers program. It’s a great family activity involving self defense, exercise and fun. It truly gives you a sense of belonging, if you are new or have been going there for years they welcome you with open arms and make you feel like family.
August 04 · Jacqulyn AshbrookWe absolutely love this karate program! Since my daughter started in February, everyone has been so welcoming. The instructors are kind, patient, and truly care about the kids—it’s clear they want to see them grow and do their best. My daughter looks forward to every class and always has a great time.We also really appreciate the extra events like Ninja Nights. They’re such a fun way for the kids to hang out, play, do some karate, and enjoy dinner together. My kids always have a blast. We’re so thankful for all the hard work that goes into making this such a positive experience for families. We also enjoy having a lovable dog that is happy to see us and everyone he meets each time we walk through the doors! He is the perfect mascot for DMC!
July 30 · Anna SmithI started going here when I was 11yrs old. Karate is the thing me and my dad really connected on, he is the one that got me into it. I am now 24 and received my black belt a couple years ago. I still attend here teaching classes and still get the opportunity to continue my training. I could go on and on about how much this place has impacted my life. I have learned to have respect and kindness for everyone, to be able to discipline myself in order to reach my goals, to be confident in my skills and my beliefs, taught me how to be a good leader to others. The best part is all these transferred into my every day life. I think one of the biggest plus’s is that it helped me become a positive influence and role model for my younger siblings. The other is feeling safe and confident going places by myself. I am 5,2 female and not a very big or intimidating person but I would trust myself to protect myself or others if necessary. On a separate note I love being an instructor and building such positive relationships with all the students. Getting the opportunity to teach and see their faces when they accomplish their goals is the best feeling in the world. Kids and adults will share their accomplishments in and outside of karate with me and it just puts a smile on my face. This place has been my safe place, my second home. I have made some of the best friendships of my life here. I love my karate family endlessly.
July 30 · Heather MillerWe were recommended to come here for karate through a family member. Our son LOVES being here and is doing an amazing job. The staff is outstanding. Mrs. Shearer at the front desk is so friendly and helpful. She keeps the building clean at all times. All the staff is friendly and even loves our youngest kiddo and plays with her too while our son is in class. For the few short months that we have been here, the improvement I have seen in my son is amazing. This place will always be the one I recommend!
July 30 · Britney KirkbrideWe are fairly new at Dale McCutcheon's Martial Arts School and our son is part of the Tiny Tiger program. In the short time that we have been here, we have seen so much growth with our son each week, both in class and at home.Mr. Gatte is great with the kids. Class is a very structured environment, with clear rules and expectations. He does a great job with correcting the younger kids when they do something wrong and offers praise when they do something right. This has really helped with my son's confidence and discipline to focus and learn karate. The school itself is very clean and spacious. All of the staff, students and parents that we have met so far have been friendly and welcoming. I am so glad we made the decision to join and highly recommend DMC to anyone interested in learning karate.
