★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Cho’s Martial Arts does NOT provide a safe and supportive environment for my daughters. The worst part is that he lets older boys (up to 18 years of age) spar with young girls (from 4 to 10 years). My 10-year-old daughter has often been hit hard by older boys. She often gets bruises on her arms, legs and stomach area after sparring. Once, she was kicked so hard in the chest by a black-belt boy (over 16 years of age) that she could not breathe for a minute, and her upper body felt numb for several hours. She cried at the scene, but the master yelled at her for not blocking. Another time, she was kicked in the face by a black belt boy, which left bruises on her face for a few days. My 4-year-old daughter was hit in the eye by an older boy with nun chucks (a type of martial arts weapon), kicked in the belly, and even choked by older boys. I talked about my concerns with the master several times, but he did not make any significant changes. My children are repeatedly paired up with irresponsible and aggressive older boys.
April 10 · Nicole BromanWe signed a two-year contract for our daughter, but she had a medical issue six months before the end of the contract. The doctor issued a medical note saying that she cannot return to martial arts. However, the master refuses to release us from the contract, and he insists that we pay in full the early termination penalty of 65% of the remaining balance. To get an early release from the contract without penalty, he requires that we provide access to our child's confidential medical records which we are not comfortable with.
April 10 · Markus BromanThank you Mr Cho for believing in what you do, thank you for being there for our kids , Mr Cho don’t baby our kids he teach them how to trust themself, how to love their selves and their families and country, he train them to be strong, my 2 kids become a lot better since they start with Mr cho.
December 09 · Hatem AlhyassaI was and still consider myself a student of Grand Master Cho! Like many, I was looking for an authentic experience that took martial arts seriously, and also wanted a place where my family could participate. Initially, my daughter was to be the only one to attend, but we all signed up after a few trial classes! I loved attending classes and enjoyed EVERYONE classmate! One of the beauties of Master Cho's schools is that we'd spar every day, and there was no age limit on classes. This allowed children to match up with adults and experience the unfairness of reality. There were rules, of course, but it taught real life lessons!Classes aren't entirely strict lessons and seriousness either! Master Cho has an amazing personality, is full of charisma, and is quite funny! His instruction is individually based on observation of each student. The given direction is extremely helpful, and should be practiced for personal improvement! Senior students also shine and continue his instruction to great effect. You can't go wrong by choosing Cho's Martial Arts!Unfortunately, my work ended my ability to attend classes. Though, I do miss it greatly!Thank you Grand Master Cho!!- Roger Glass and family
