★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My son has been attending this studio for a year and a half.To start, I had my reservations on a studio that hooked us through the mall, but after having my expectations not met with others in the area first, I started to think maybe I just had the bar set too high. The growth I’ve watched in my son over the last year and a half has been incredible. He begs to participate in anything this studio puts on. His leaps in the discipline have been invaluable- and I very much credit that to the dojo, his patient instructors, and the very well structured learning system Two Dragons has created. I feel like he is prepared for tournaments well, engaged and challenged.I may not have the same political views or opinions as the owner, but I refuse to let that stand in the way of a well devised program- and that’s exactly what they’ve provided my child with.If you have a kid that takes their martial arts seriously, this is an excellent place to choose.
July 30 · Van Dyke World TourI am super thrilled to have my child attend here and learn lessons that will last him a lifetime. Soke was very easy to talk to.It’s very interesting watching him work with my child. He has knowledge that I couldn’t have gotten anywhere else. This place is very clean and organized. They have a very thorough lesson plan. I cannot wait to see my child’s growth. I would definitely recommend to any parent struggling with their autistic child.
June 13 · Addi VoxMy daughter’s dad heard about Two Dragons Karate while at the mall. A nice gentleman approached them with details about the class my daughter and her dad were very interested. He signed us up for a meeting to go over contracts, pricing, classes and working with my daughter one on one. My daughter was very comfortable with the owner. She did very well. The owner is very detailed about the 1 year contract but explained it very well for us to understand. Overall we had a great experience. My daughter had a great time. We signed her up for classes. I think this is gonna be a great fit for her.
February 19 · Sienna SwensonFirst day with Soke went great although he doesn’t personally train his students we’re excited to see how his class helps our very wiggly son. He does offer one on ones and seems involved if you reach out to him. In the hour and a half we had with him for our introduction our son amazed us with his focus and excitement to learn. Now with saying all of that we are open to his strictness and contracts he made very clear from the start. It does cost money, it doesn’t mean it will solve all our life problems, and it does mean we as parents have to try and stick with his strict guidelines. If you’re not willing those three things you will probably end up like the rest of the Karen’s who post negatively. It’s still a business after all and they do need to make their ends meat. As parents who struggle to stick to their guns when coming to discipline, we feel really good about doing the 6 points he’s created to help us. Haven’t had a class yet so not sure how the rest of the year will be. Just keeping an open mind that if you’re going to pay $3,000 for your child to learn, that means putting in the work to ensure your money is going to a good use. Read the reviews and read in between the lines of people who just want to drop their kid off and expect them to become this magical human. It takes work and dedication.
March 04 · kirsten jonesWe started at two dragons Karate around November. We were hoping to focus on discipline and focus with our ADHD 7 year old.We had about an hour or so meeting with the owner when we first talked about joining and we’ve never seen her listen as well as she did during that meeting. In the months that have followed we have seen an improvement. She loves it there, has made friends and we definitely see an improvement in her attitude. It all came together tonight at her school conference when we mentioned to her teacher that she started karate in November and the teacher told us she has definitely shown improvement in her classroom with our her since she started.Definitely worth the money.
