★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Ivyrose and I have been students at this School for the better part of a year and I have nothing but incredible things to say. The majority of the people here are warm, inviting, and have no issues allowing you to push yourself as best as you can!I personally have lost over 50 pounds and have dropped 3 sizes for clothing, gained confidence, and have a better overall level of health.Ivyrose has been gaining more focus and the other students are excellent to her. The instructors and the senior level non instructors are extremely patient with her autism and manage to teach her in ways she can remember. If you are near the school and want to give it a try, Sifu Michael Voss is an amazing and understanding teacher.Free lessons available for first time students!
March 29 · Christopher NeumillerMy family has been here for almost a yr. We have meet some amazing and caring people and instructors. At 34 I started to do the class with my kids. I couldn't do a push up and now I can keep up with my kids again. I lost 20 pounds as well and my flexibility is back. It's helped my kids with adhd gets a lot of energy out. The price you can't beat it! I have three kids in class and I'm able to afford it on a lunch lady income. Sifu cares about his students and their ability to learn kung fu.
August 27 · Zinus ZariousI continue to have a wonderful experience here — the exercise is fun and uplifting and the instructors are inclusive, supportive, and encouraging. Many students at all levels of fitness, each just does their best at their own pace. I highly recommend it!
April 23 · Ross MeisnerWe wanted a martial arts school that was not so focused on a belt or contract. We enrolled our five year old in the kid’s class. The instructors are very patient yet authoritative with our son and after a few lessons we enrolled our wiry fifteen year old who has finally found a physical activity he is great at and is excelling quickly. The wife and I have joined too so the whole family participates. Besides learning Kung Fu I have improved my flexibility, balance, learned how to fall properly, and get a good work out. The instructors will stay late and work with you as will senior class members, some a third my age. As with anything the more practice you put in the more you will progress. Sifu Voss has very few rules other than respect everyone and put forth your best effort.Points: No contracts, self-paced (advancement at your own pace and not required), and helpful instructors.
October 31 · Matthew MitlyngMy review is only based off of the free session that I went to.I have seen their building plenty of times over the last 3 years and I always wondered what it would be like to join. Having never been in martial arts, I was rather nervous about going in for the free session, but I can say that I have no regret for going. In fact the only exception for regret I do have is not joining sooner! The people there were great and very friendly! I felt very focused and determined during the whole session as it seemed everyone else did as well. Sign me up! I can see myself only benefiting from joining. Thank you School of Shaolin Kung Fu for having me!
