★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Pentjak Karate has been such a positive and rewarding experience for my 10-year-old son. From the very first class, we could tell this wasn’t just another martial arts program—it’s a truly personable, community-driven environment where the instructors know every student by name and take the time to help them grow both on and off the mat.Not only has my son gained valuable self-defense skills, but his confidence has grown tremendously. He’s more focused, motivated, and proud of his achievements. Even better, it’s given him a healthy, active outlet that gets him off the screen and engaged in something meaningful. The sense of community at Pentjak Karate is something special—you feel it the moment you walk in. The instructors genuinely care about the kids, encourage their progress, and celebrate their successes. We are so grateful for the positive influence Pentjak Karate has had on our son’s life.I would highly recommend Pentjak Karate to any parent looking for a program that builds character, confidence, and community. And even better, it’s affordable for the average working family! August 14 · Danielle NilandLove watching my son grow over the last several years at Pentjak. From being afraid to go in the room to not ever wanting to miss a class! Thank you to all the dedicated sensei's and instructors!!
August 02 · Krista MalinoskiMaster DeVoe and his team of senseis do an incredible job. You can see the results in the kids who have been doing the classes for awhile: not only do they have some pretty crazy-looking karate skills, but these kids are also clearly learning the kindness and discipline that makes little learners into good people. When these kids see a less-experienced student struggling with the moves, they don't hesitate to try and help, and it's with a maturity that's impressive. The instructors lead hour-long sessions that accommodate the newer and more advanced students at the same time, and they're clearly very experienced in the sensitive and challenging work of teaching new learners. It's been such a gift to have our kid enrolled at Pentjak and it can't be recommended highly enough to any parent who wants their child to learn how to learn or learn how to kick butt.
