★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Both my wife and my daughter enjoy getting on the mat and training jujitsu. My daughter has been on the mat since she was 4 she’s 8 now and looks forward to coming back everyday! My wife has been getting on the mat for half a year now and is just as happy to work with everyone and get better. It’s like a 2nd family to each of us. They also have Friday classes for Karate which is what I was doing for a while and fell in love with! I highly recommend this dojo to anyone who is looking for professional mentors and has a passion for martial arts or anyone who is interested in learning about protecting themselves from harm. It’s a good stress reliever and workout as well. Everyone is very friendly and supportive of each other and that’s why I love it here.
June 20 · Alex GomezI've known Terry Ham Sensei for many years, and he's always been a dedicated martial artist and teacher who continually strives for excellence. His vast experience in both classical Japanese Martial Arts, as well as the contemporary martial arts styles speak to his dedication to both teaching and personal development. I wholeheartedly recommend Terry and Pasadena Martial Arts if you have the opportunity to do so.
September 11 · Mark FrancoMy daughter and son attend this Dojo and I can not express how happy we are to be a part of this community! My son just made Advanced Jujitsu which was a huge goal and dream of his. The instructors here believe in our kids and pour into them in so many ways! If you are looking for a place that not only teaches the arts and history, but also provides a family that loves and gives their all to your kiddos or even yourself, look no further! Kiddo went from being bullied to overcoming and gaining confidence from within. I couldn't be happier!!!
October 10 · Brittnay SmithSensei Terry is a wonderful teacher and personally helps each of his students. Not only does he teach basic self defense moves, he also teaches the wisdom martial artists should know and follow. He builds the self esteem of the children with great pep talks and teaches them self respect and to also help and respect their parents. (Wise people know martial arts is deeper than just physical movements) He sees everyone as a student, and not as a number for his business, that's what makes him unique amongst others. I highly recommend this school. Give him a try and you will see for yourself. 😊
May 03 · Jerry ColungaPerfect place for children and adults alike to start from scratch or refine their skills(separate sessions of course). Sensei demonstrates the techniques and explains the real-world application while maintaining a safe training environment for everyone. Students here are not out to prove how tough they are, but rather to learn the Art and help each other grow as martial artists. Come check it out; we will treat like you like family. I have trained other places and this is by far the best in MY book.
