★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My boys have been in the program for several years and it has been a good thing for them. It builds confidence and Mr. Prieto teaches good life lessons in addition on how to handle certain situations (when bullied, being attacked, etc) such as de-escalate but defend yourself if and when necessary. Not only that - but they also have fun!!What I especially like is how they are learning the Chuck Norris United Fighting Arts Federation (UFAF) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to make for a well-rounded skill set. This has been a good life-long investment into our children as I see them grow.
May 31 · Garrett CostelloWe have been practicing more than 1 year and always appreciated this place but today I felt my kid has been under appreciated, looks like a racism. We came the class that should be 1 pm and there was only one kid practicing with Mr Perredo, we kept waiting for him more than 10 minutes even there was only one child, he made my son staying and watching them and he didn’t invite him even he was looking and knowing that the time is over the next class should be started already. I understand if there are a bunch of kids and might be hard to finish on time but it was only one practicing and my son came for next one to make it. I have noticed this way of behaving toward my child earlier from this coach but would not like pay attention to that and hurt my son until today. Really before Christmas he made me and my son very upset. I was thinking he is experienced and professional coach, person to work with kids.
December 21 · Aigul DemessinovaMr. Prieto and his team are PHENOMENAL! We (my soon to be 7 year old son) joined a month ago and signed up to go twice a week. My son enjoyed the classes so much that we changed enrollment to unlimited classes where he can attend 5-6 times a week.Mr. Prieto engages the children while teaching them discipline and respect. He, naturally so, and given that he works with children, is often humorous, fun and occasionally silly. This “fun” does not take away from the structure of his classes, but like anything good you have to give it time!So glad I found KOTW! Looking forward to watching my son grow!
February 16 · Em AMr Prieto and team have been an absolutely amazing addition to the formation of my 6 year old - an intensely active and slightly rebellious young one. Their patience, consistency, and balance of structure and humor have quickly allowed for this studio to feel like a second home to us all. I am in awe at the extent of positive changes that have come as a result of our dedicated practice here. We look forward to our classes every week, and see many new belts in our future. You won’t regret welcoming this team into your family :)
March 14 · Meredith GuerreroThis is a GREAT studio! My son loves it here. He has gained self confidence, has great self esteem and has gotten stronger physically and mentally. Mr. Prieto is a one of a kind instructor with amazing calmness, control, and patience, especially with the youngest kiddos. Ages start 3 1/2 and go through adult ages. Wonderful for kids!!!! Can not say enough about this studio. They really care about you and your children. Within a year, they have become family to my family and me. Give them try, you won't be disappointed!
