April 17 · Kimberly HsuJust experienced the first post-COVID 19 class and was so impressed with the safety procedures in place. It's clear that Sensei Rusty and all the other Sensei and senpai put in time and effort to keep everyone safe. Temperature scanning, hand sanitizing stations, designated spots to ensure social distancing are all in place. I feel absolutely certain that my child is safe in class and is benefitting from in person training. Thank you, JIKC! ♥️🥋
June 27 · Tiffany Yango-AuGreat place. Friendly teachers and staff. Offers introductory class for free to help in making decision to enroll or not. Ensure to call first to make arrangement. There are classes for keiki/young kids. Classes are structured, begins and ends with salutations and ceremonies. Sensei and Senpais provides extra instructions to students that needs them. It's amazing that teachers and staffs can quickly memorize each student's names. COVID protocols are followed to keep everybody safe. Highly recommended. Check them out.
October 02 · Gary BarbosaMy 2 grandsons Francis and Jaston Savea enjoy being part of our Dojo. They are proud doing something for themselves, something they need to work hard for in order to move up. They love sensei Rusty and everyone one their. They look at life alot differently since joining. These boys has had a rough start in life and with what they learn at our Dojo helps also in their school and lives at home. They have learned not only to defend themselves but most important they have learned to have a better attitude and respect of others as well as themselves. I recommend our Dojo to everyone out there. Sensei Rusty stresses respect for parents, school as well as our friends. The structure really help this grandma raising these children.
August 26 · Debora SaveaOur son has been going to classes there for nearly a year and we love it. The classes can be a bit large but Sensei Rusty is great with the kids! We hope to stay with JIKC for a long time.
