Choosing a martial arts school is a significant decision, and Into Arts Martial Arts Center in Marietta stands out for several compelling reasons. The most notable is the unique blend of "old school with a twist of new" instruction, as one customer described it. This approach means that students learn traditional martial arts values of discipline and respect while also benefiting from a modern curriculum that includes practical self-defense and a focus on physical and mental well-being. The instructors are the heart of this school; they are not only masters of their craft but also caring mentors who truly love what they do. For families, the center’s value is immense. The flexible class schedule is a major advantage for busy parents, making it easier to commit to the long-term journey of martial arts. The "Bully Prevention" and "life lessons" aspects of the children’s programs are especially noteworthy, as they provide kids with confidence and skills that are applicable far beyond the dojo. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My son loves the martial arts program here. Classes are diverse, and they focus on physical, mental, competition, and life lessons. They even have a discipline/repect aspect to them. The instructors are well-rounded, fair, and truly love what they do. I love the flexibility and schedule offered, unlike other facilities I consider. And the best part is that the kids all support each other in a roundabout way as they grow together.
September 13 · TakishVery respectful and more old school with a twist of new! The kids just attended the first belt form test! This is our forever home for Martial Arts! Teaches kids to be respectful and to protect theirselves when needed. Also has adult classes!
December 10 · Michael McBurnettGreat school. Wonderful mix of old school martial arts with a current flair.Master Lawing is very talented and an excellent instructor. He even tolerates old guys like me trying to limber up a few creaky joints. The school is for real even to the point of having life discussions with the students, to train the mind as well as the body.Highly Recommended.
July 02 · Mark ElrodOur son have been taking lessons from Master Lawing for nearly 3 years. Master Lawing is extremely professional, knowledgeable, caring and most of all have the patience especially for the younger students. Master Lawing has years of experience and truly genuine at heart. Highly recommend 100%.
May 28 · F MI’ve been taking classes at Into Arts for 6 years now and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Master Lawing is a great instructor and really knows his stuff. I particularly appreciate the non-competitive atmosphere!
