★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had an amazing experience here! I dropped in on a Monday for their 6:15 evening class in the Gi; the gym was packed with diversity of belts and people. Great vibes, everyone was super respectful and kind. Professor Foster was very welcoming and attentive to new and drop-in students. Great class structure for any belt level and size. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to train with these awesome folk and I would definitely recommend this BJJ gym if you’re in the Kent, WA area. *Picture is proof of my workout!! hehe 😈- A girly blue belt
March 03 · Serenity SchusterAmazing people, amazing classes, and just a great place whether you're looking for something fun or something for your health both physically and mentally. I've been a student and friend of foster both the man and his amazing school for about 15 years now and have seen all kinds of amazing people come and go over the years and have never had a bad experience. The whole school is devoted to making everyone of any age feel safe and encouraged while pushing you to meet your individual goals. I truly can't say enough good things about this place or its members it's something you have to experience to truly appreciate.
October 21 · Todd HildebrandCan't recommend Foster jiujitsu enough!I was traveling through Seattle on a trip from Canada, Professor Foster and his team welcomed me in with open arms. I had a great time and great rolls, training for a morning with his team.Professor Foster, is a very kind person and a fantastic teacher, if you're thinking about going to get some training or join with him, do it!Fantastic gym!
January 01 · Chase TI don’t even know where to start. Jiu-Jitsu is such a unique brother hood. As one of the cornerstones of MMA it requires sparring. Sparring is unique especially when you get to do it with people whom you have never met (and not in a competition setting). James’s place didn’t disappoint. The rolls I had there were nothing short of awesome. It’s also super unique that an accomplished athlete such as James to even roll with drop in athletes!!! In the short hour and a half that I was there I felt like I found a family for myself on the southern Seattle seaboard!
April 21 · Kyle MotzkusGreat atmosphere to learn with a good group of people, for adults and kids.
