It's a place where children and adults alike can embark on a transformative journey, building not only physical skills but also essential life values. The school offers a diverse range of programs, specializing in Taekwondo but also providing instruction in Boxing, Kickboxing, and MMA. This variety ensures that every student, regardless of their age or fitness level, can find a path that suits their goals.
The core philosophy of Champions Martial Arts is centered on shaping leaders and building champions through disciplined training and a supportive environment. The instructors are lauded for their ability to connect with students, especially young children, teaching them self-defense, respect for others, and improving their listening skills, all while making the process fun and engaging. The school's "Little Tigers" program, for instance, is specifically designed for the youngest students (ages 3-6) to help them with focus, coordination, and confidence. For older students and adults, the training is tailored to help them improve their skills, get a total body workout, and develop an indomitable spirit.
Beyond the regular classes, Champions Martial Arts offers a variety of programs to serve the community's needs, including a popular after-school program and an exciting summer camp. These additional services provide a structured, safe, and active environment for kids when school is out. The school’s commitment to disciplined training is a recurring theme in the positive feedback from parents, who have seen a noticeable improvement in their children's behavior and focus. While a review does mention a structured progression plan that may involve additional costs, the overall sentiment is that the instruction is valuable and that students are genuinely enjoying their time at the academy.

What is worth choosing
Choosing a martial arts school can be a challenging decision for a New York family, but Champions Martial Arts offers several compelling reasons to make it a top choice. The most significant factor, as highlighted by multiple customer reviews, is the quality of the instruction. One parent enthusiastically stated that their child "loves it" and that the "teachers are good with the kids." This is a crucial element, especially for young children who need an encouraging and patient instructor to stay engaged. Another parent praised the instructor as being "patient, encouraging, and amazing at keeping young kids engaged while teaching discipline, focus, and confidence." This positive feedback underscores the school's ability to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.
The school's dual focus on physical and mental development is another major draw. It's not just about learning how to kick or punch; it's about learning respect, improving listening skills, and building confidence. For parents, seeing their children "learn how to defend themselves, respect others," and have fun is a powerful combination that justifies the investment. One parent noted that in just a short time, they have seen "so much growth," a testament to the effectiveness of the programs.
While one review did mention concerns about the pricing structure and the requirement to join a "black belt club," it is important for prospective members to inquire about these details directly. However, the core of the reviews remains highly positive about the day-to-day experience and the positive impact on the children. The fact that the school offers a free trial class is a great opportunity for families to experience the environment and teaching style firsthand before making a commitment. This transparency and invitation to try a class risk-free show confidence in the value of their programs. The wide array of services, including after-school and summer camp options, makes Champions Martial Arts a one-stop-shop for a child's enrichment and fitness needs. For anyone in Brooklyn looking for a professional, positive, and transformative martial arts experience, Champions Martial Arts is a highly recommended option.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They teach Tae Kwon Do. Your children will learn how to defend themselves, respect others, improve their listening, and have fun :). Teachers are good with the kids. My daughter(5 yrs) and her friends love it!! They are yellow belts currently. But beware, the price goes up quickly. If you want your kid to get past a yellow belt, you have to join the black belt club only 7 months after joining. Which they don't tell you about and cost more with more days required. It's a bit much for a 5 yr old. They make you commit for 2.5 years and want you to pay upfront.
August 22 · Josh MichaelMy 4-year-old loves Champion Martial Arts, and we couldn’t be happier! The instructor is patient, encouraging, and amazing at keeping young kids engaged while teaching discipline, focus, and confidence. In just a short time, we’ve seen so much growth, and my son looks forward to every class.
February 08 · sevinc ozcelikMy son studied at CMA Greenpoint for half a year and I am very glad that his acquaintance with martial arts began in this school. The instructors are professional and take an individual approach to each student.I am grateful to fate that once, quite by accident, I saw their advertisement on the street and decided to stop by!
February 23 · Dasha StrokI discover the place in summer 2020. Originally I was looking for Kung-Fu school but since I live in neighborhood I chose this location. Got excellent deal when signed up for a program.. (talking few Benjamins :) ) Started with MMA classes but after few decided to get more serious with Eastern Spirit of Martial Arts and since School offers Taekwondo classes I began to learn the basics. After month I was offered membership in Black Belt Club program.Hours are flexible so I can attend after work and on the weekends. After 7 months of attending program 3-4 times weekly I went from no belt to Green Tip belt. And during Black Belt Club classes we also learn how to use nunchakus and sparring gear. My goal is Black Belt and beyond. The Head Instructor Jack and Instructor Abdullokh are super professional experts in teaching Taekwondo and MMA. You will get better shape and they will teach you technics of self-defenses and a lot more. The place is friendly, safe and clean. I can easy say I'm happy with my decision joining CMA Greenpoint school and I highly recommend this place whether for yourself or your kid.
March 21 · Lucas Z (luthiell)I’m so glad I stumbled across Champions MMA. Jack is a fantastic instructor. He explains the benefits of the exercises we are doing. Always upbeat and knows how to push you without being a drill instructor, understands my fitness goals, very professional.Great workout, fun place. Highly recommended!
