Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ)is a grappling-based martial art whose central theme is the skill of controlling a resisting opponent in ways that forces him to submit. Due to the fact that control is generally easier on the ground than in a standing position, much of the technique of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is centered round the skill of taking an opponent down to the ground and wrestling for dominant control positions from where the opponent can be rendered harmless.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My 5 year old grandson started Tiny Tigers in January. He has improved in so many areas, i.e., confidence, discipline, listening, etc. He also made a new best friend! 12 sessions a month have helped him learn many karate moves. Bronx Martial Arts is a good choice.
April 08 · Pee DeeIf your are looking for a safe environment and a strong sense of community that will teach resilience, my friend you are in the right spot.BMAA has impeccable facilities, locker rooms and showers. Affordable fees. Instructors and Senseis that are fully engaged with their students, and are super accessible to parents concerns.I can appreciate the fact they are thorough. My munchkins and my special needs kiddo are learning precisely that, resilience and discipline. I want to give them tools that will help them thrive and succeed, despite any challenge or difficulty. All while having fun and being safe as well.In my opinion, all the kids in the dojo seem to enjoy classes, whether is Karate or Jujitsu. Kudos to each one of the Senseis and Instructors of BMAA.
April 24 · Sarah CruzBronx Martial Arts Academy has been an incredible experience for our family. The instructors are absolutely amazing with the kids — patient, encouraging, and always able to bring out the best in them. It's clear they truly care about each student's growth, both on and off the mat. One of the things that stands out most is the strong sense of camaraderie among the students and the way everyone is treated as family. The environment is so supportive, and it's been wonderful to see the kids build not just skills, but real friendships too. We couldn't be happier there!
April 27 · Joanna SMy daughter has been attending this Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school for several years now, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The instructors are phenomenal — not only are they highly skilled, but they’re also incredibly patient, supportive, and truly passionate about teaching. They do a fantastic job creating a positive, respectful environment where kids can learn and grow in both confidence and discipline. The facilities are always clean, well-maintained, and safe, which gives me peace of mind as a parent. The quality of instruction is top-notch, with a great balance between technique, fitness, and fun. It’s clear the staff cares deeply about each student’s progress. If you’re looking for a place where your child can thrive both on and off the mats, this is it. We’re proud to be part of the community here!
May 02 · Jaiman YunIf I could give it 10 stars I would. It is clean and very organized. Instructors/ professors ( shout out to instructor Johnny and Professor Stanley) are top notch in their own right and show dedication and commitment to the kids. They know how to strike a good balance between fostering discipline and perfection and at same time also making it fun during training. My son is always excited to come and train here. My only regret is that I wish we came here to train here sooner.
