★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Black Hawk Martial Arts is a great place to train, work on your fitness, develop excellent relationships and just have fun while sweating it out. The instructors (Master Ron and Ray) have a great understanding of each student's personal needs and abilities and are willing to work within those limitations. They teach traditional martial arts, but show us how to use it, if needed, in a modern day application. For youths, I have watched them gain confidence in themselves while learning discipline, focus, and respect. For the adults, including myself, we have learned more focus, strength, and confidence.Black Hawk Martial Arts is a great place for individuals or families to learn and have fun at the same time.
April 28 · Matthew RakoltaI joined Black Hawk Martial Arts along side my 11 year old son with the intention of getting him more physically active. What surprised me is that I quickly realized that I really enjoy learning and training myself as well. In fact, my 15 year old daughter saw how much we enjoy it and she decided to join with us. I really appreciate that they have established an environment where all 3 of us can learn and train together. The instructors are great!! They are very knowledgeable and are willing to work with anyone at any skill level. They are very dedicated to teaching students all of the skill sets needed to train and grow in Tang Soo Do. If you are in search of a place to work out and learn some martial arts skills, I highly recommend Black Hawk!
April 22 · Jason EagerI started at the end of October here with zero martial arts experience. This has been a great decision for me! I have started to get back into shape ( according to my Apple Watch each class burns 800-1200 cal), got more flexibility, and most of all am learning a new skill. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about this art and work with you. It is an extremely positive environment. The training is mixed up each time to keep things fresh. If you are on the fence, go ahead and try it. You can’t go wrong!
April 29 · Clay FultonPhenomenal instruction and a dedication from the staff at Black Hawk Martial Arts to enable you to be successful. They are very knowledgeable and ensure you fully understand the purpose behind the movements and the history of the craft. I highly recommend them and have personally experienced the instruction and preparation they put into their Dojang
April 23 · Dan SheehanPerfect place for men, women and kids to continue or start their martial arts training. The instructors are very friendly and patient, accommodating all levels of students. The skills learned are very applicable to real life situations.
