★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have known Master Edward Wong since 2017 when I began to take Tai Chi at the YMCA on Augusta Dr. in Houston, Texas. I attended both beginners and intermediate. I absolutely loved both courses and rarely missed either of them.Master Edward is a consummate professional, knowledgeable, patient and provides detailed explanations of the numerous moves undertaken during Tai Chi. He provides an ongoing commentary about the history and background around Tai Chi. He has studied Tai Chi for over 35 years and is expert on all the subjects related to Tai Chi.There are many benefits of Tai Chi, most are health related and very positive. As an aside, my white hair began to darken while I was taking Tai Chi. The 20 to 30 minute stretching movements are particularly invigorating.I am currently continuing my training with Master Wong at Bellaire Yoga Tai Chi.I highly recommend Master Edward and Tai Chi for everyone at all ages.Michael Ring
June 15 · michael ringMaster Wong's qi gong classes have been an incredible addition to my wellness routine. I've noticed a substantial decrease in my blood pressure and better harmony throughout my body both physically and spiritually. His classes are great for any age group and well suited for anyone looking to learn more about managing energy and healing in the body.
December 11 · Matt TateEd Wang is a true master. I have enjoyed his classes in qigong, abdominal breathing, and most recently, tai chi stretching. His approach always works to enhance your general health or specific areas of the body that need attention. He is the real deal.
June 04 · Valentine BovingI read some research saying that Qi Gong is helpful for Chronic Fatigue. My wife and I attended Master Wong's classes for a few months. Every time I left class, I felt more energized. We live two hours away and had to stop attending because of the long commutes, but I still practice what we learned almost every day. I also had a couple sessions of acupuncture. This was very refreshing--too bad I don't live closer.
February 25 · stephen BrownMaster Wong is the real deal. He knows what he is talking about. He guides you as he practices the motions with you. I can really feel the difference in my personal life and my health.I do Taekwondo, an external martial art. Tai Chi, Qigong is a soft internal martial art. I have over 20 years of external martial arts. I am a 3rd Dan (3rd Degree black belt). Since studying Qigong with Master Wong, I can see & feel the difference! The lessons are affordable and specific to the practitioners' needs. If anyone is looking for a Tai Chi Master, I highly recommend Master Wong. Master Wong has extensive knowledge in both Tai Chi and Qigong. I have practiced both Tai Chi and Qigong with him. They are very much beneficial.I have even sparred Master Wong and how a Tai Chi master fights isn't what you think. Taekwondo sparring is all physical hitting: such as kicking as hard as you can; verses, Tai Chi is soft close quarters combat. Tai Chi is not to hurt the opponent, rather it is to destabilize the opponent, which is the foundation of push hands as taught by Master Wong.I have done private lessons with Master Wong. I have done meditation with Master Wong. In Qigong, and when meditating, you use abdominal breathing.
