★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Hello, for everyone who knows me I write the most honest reviews. I first registered my daughter through Covina parks with Master Tony, who is associated with Wolf TKD. My daughter was a kid who was bullied for 2 years in Elementary school & after that happened she slowly started to shut down mentally and physically. She was no longer the happy and confident little girl I knew. We enrolled her in TKD and at 1st she did struggle but Master Tony slowly started to take her out of her shell and her confidence started to be seen again. Through Covina park, I also met Master Ramon who is one of Master Tony's young assistance and also an amazing fighter like Master Tony himself. Master Lulu is another teacher and assistant of Master Tony and she also teaches Bo Staff training. My daughter leveled up many belts and competed in tournaments including a state one where she received second place. She eventually had some issues with a child in the Covina park so she was switched to train with Master Daniel in the Wolf dojang. The 1st to 2nd week she struggled a little but now she has become and amazing fighter who is getting stronger mentally and physically. One of my favorite quotes by Lao Tzu says, 'Mastering other's is strength. Mastering yourself is true power." This is exactly what Master Daniel's teaching are about. He is constantly teaching these kids that tournaments are not about winning, that the minute they step into the mat for a fight, they are already winners. The tournaments are to learn to control their fears and through mistakes and losses, they learn to better their weaknesses by turning them into strengths. He teaches them self-defense, kickboxing, focus, mental discipline & respect. I never thought I would get my daughter back until she was taught by all these masters. Master Daniel is beyond amazing with these kids and his tough trainings are making these children become leaders. These kids learn to hold back during fights and try to de-escalate bad situations as much as they can but when attacked, they learn to finish the fights themselves. Let's be honest, we live in scary world and our children need to learn to defend themselves. These Masters are all amazing and work great with kids. I won't lie, I read the google reviews this Dojang has but I truly feel there was a lack of miscommunication by parents or kids themselves. Master Daniel and his wife Roxanne are very honest people and they will never lie to you. If you have questions they make themselves available to answer. With that said and my long review, I decided to enroll my daughter with Master Daniel's Dojang because I trust them with my kid. They are teaching our kids to become the better versions of themselves and to learn to control fear because as Master Daniel says, "Once fear controls you, you will never be the same." That is the honest truth, fear stops us from living a life but I won't allow that to happen to my daughter.
August 10 · G DMaster Daniel and his wife doing some great work for the community so thankful we came in that day. Now my son is enrolled and as happy as can be. Thank you for the confidence he is learning!
June 04 · GeorginaMaster Daniel is great with the kids!!! He is very welcoming and respectful! My daughter has been a student of his for 9 months and she enjoys it and looks forward to her training/practice days of the week. She may only be a little preschooler but she already has a passion for learning the martial art of taekwondo. It has built her self confidence to stand up for herself and bullies and she has a lot of fun every class and it’s a great way for her to stay active and healthy. Much respect to Master Daniel and Master Tony!!!
February 03 · Deb Litia MauMaster Tony is awesome. He is only 24 years old and knows how to teach the kids Tae Kwon Do and he has a lot patience with his students. His sister is also a black belt instructor and she is very nice. I will be taking my son back in January or February 2023.
December 09 · Jimmy A.The Master is disrespectful to the students. Don’t bother signing his contract, beware of his un professionalism. If you want your child to be in a healthy environment, judge free, where he can learn proper mannerism find another location.
