- I don’t have any bad to say about Valley Ranch Taekwondo but great things. First thing. They put the kids and their parents first in everything they do. Second, my baby boy been going there for 4 years now and planning on going until he is a master. They always ready to answer any questions you have. We had made so many amazing friends at valley Ranch Taekwondo. August 15 · Fronz Dave
- My son is very much excited to learn from Taekwondo every day as he was on the Day1. As a parent, I feel proud to see him scaling up his skills with huge support from his Valley Ranch Taekwondo teachers. I appreciate Valley Ranch Taekwondo for providing good training to all students and up to date communication on all happenings. I love to continue and see my son growing towards Black Belt soon. Thanks August 14 · Naceer Sattar
- Good introductory classes for kids to enhance confidence and my kid appears to be enjoying so far. Just be aware of the ongoing charges on equipment and test add up over time. And if their mobile app can be made better, as it takes a while to get used to it.****** UPDATE AFTER MANY MONTHS ******DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE with Poor Communication & Unfair ChargesWe’ve been attending this Taekwondo class for almost a year, and while we've appreciated certain aspects, unfortunately, we’ve encountered issues that have not met our expectations.Poor Communication:Testing signup windows are barely announced, with last-minute emails giving less than 12 hours' notice. Many parents, including myself, have missed this, resulting in unfair late fees. Despite requests, they are not sending SMS reminders for such important announcements.Ineffective App:Their app lacks proper notifications, and testing banners are easy to miss, making it harder to avoid late fees. And you are imposed to reserve and mark attendance through app each time you attend class.Inconsistent Fees:Families are charged different amounts for the same class.Lack of Experience:At times classes are taught by less experienced instructors, which can impact the overall quality. When we first joined, I left a positive review as we were still learning the process and didn’t realize the extent of these issues. At the time, they were also offering a $10 discount on gear purchases in exchange for reviews, which felt like an incentive to overlook problems. However, these small discounts are costing us more now due to repeated late fees and other frustrations.I’ve spoken with other parents from this class and others under the same Taekwondo America banner, and these issues seem unique to this school. Other schools notify parents clearly, auto-charge for tests, and communicate more effectively. I hope they address these concerns, as such incidents leave you feeling disappointed. - As an adult who hasn’t done any formal exercise since high school, I’ve been reticent to sign up for something due to my own self confidence. In all honesty, I initially looked into Valley Ranch Taekwondo due to its proximity to the library and Sanctuary comics; but as I browsed their website I was drawn in by the specific key points on their Adult classes page. I’m not looking for a place that will train me to be a fighter, but Valley Ranch Taekwondo has already helped me improve confidence, physical strength/endurance, and weight loss; everything I wanted from an exercise program. I know I’ve made the right decision here for sure! August 14 · Bill Mikesell
