★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can’t say enough about Upstate Karate. My 4 year old grandson started about 3 months ago. The difference I see in him is amazing. He loves it. The discipline and respect they teach these kids is truly something to see. The staff is wonderful, all of them! The fact that they say the Pledge of Allegiance before every class means a lot to me.,
June 27 · Angie GI have recently started taking my daughter here for karate. You get two free sessions before you decide if you and your child are comfortable there. On day one she was nervous but immediately felt welcome by all the staff. And has begged every day since to go back. The staff here are amazing and in a short period of time she has already learned so much. If your looking for a place for your child to go look no further. A huge thing for me is the times for the age groups being different everyday. It allowe me to work and plan out karate around my life. The teachers have been nothing but kind and supportive of every kid in the group. This program is not just for children but for all age groups.

June 26 · Bella HensleyThis martial arts school is phenomenal! The facility is stunning—beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and truly world-class, with everything you need to train at your best. The staff welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived, setting such a positive tone. We joined a morning class led by Ray Thompson, and wow—what an instructor! Ray’s patience and skill blew us away. He broke down techniques with crystal-clear detail, taking time to ensure everyone got it, all while radiating calm expertise that made learning feel effortless. Later, our kids took a class with Stephen Thompson, and they’re still buzzing about it! Stephen made it so much fun—his energy was infectious, and he taught them a ton in just one session. For their first class, he treated them like champs, blending patience with playful encouragement. They left grinning, hooked on martial arts! Highly recommend this top-tier dojo—5 stars for the facility, staff, and these incredible instructors!
