Twin Dragons Taekwondo II Introduce
For residents of Missouri, especially those in the Union area, finding a martial arts school that offers high-quality instruction and a positive learning environment can be a top priority for parents and individuals alike. Twin Dragons Taekwondo II is a local martial arts school that, according to its customers, has some of the "best teachers in martial arts in the region." This article provides an overview of the academy, its services, and key considerations for potential students. The information is based on public data and customer reviews, offering a factual look at what the school provides to the community in Union.
Twin Dragons Taekwondo II is a martial arts school that operates with a focus on providing personalized and high-quality instruction. The provided customer reviews paint a picture of an instructor, Mr. Hardin, who is dedicated to his craft and his students. One review states that Mr. Hardin "is a very good teacher" and that his classes are enjoyed by the students. The school's mission, as suggested by its name, is centered on Taekwondo, a popular Korean martial art known for its dynamic kicking techniques, discipline, and physical fitness benefits. While the specific curriculum is not detailed in the provided information, the positive feedback about the quality of the teaching suggests a strong foundation in the art.
The location and accessibility of Twin Dragons Taekwondo II are unique. The school is situated at 2067 Old Hwy 50 W, Union, MO 63084, USA. According to a customer review, the classes are conducted out of the instructor's home, with the garage having been converted into a dojo. This setup provides a different kind of training environment, one that is more personal and intimate than a large, commercial gym. A key point of accessibility mentioned in the provided information is the presence of a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, which ensures convenience for visitors. The facility also has a restroom available for use. However, a significant detail brought to light in a customer review is the presence of a dog inside the home. While the owners were apologetic and the incident was described as an "accident," a parent felt it was important to inform others about the dog, so they could "take proper precautions." This is a crucial piece of information for parents, particularly those with young children, to be aware of before enrolling.
The services offered at Twin Dragons Taekwondo II are focused on the discipline of Taekwondo, with a program for younger students being a key highlight.
Taekwondo: The core martial art taught at the school, focusing on the physical and mental benefits of this discipline. The training is likely to include forms, self-defense, and sparring, tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
Little Ninja Class: A specific program designed for young children, as highlighted in a review. This program likely introduces the basics of martial arts in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate manner, helping children develop coordination, focus, and discipline.
The features and highlights of Twin Dragons Taekwondo II are centered on the quality of instruction and the unique training environment.
Quality Teachers: The most significant highlight, as noted by a customer, is the presence of the "best teachers in martial arts in the region." This speaks to the high level of instruction and the positive impact the instructors have on their students.
Personalized Training Environment: Conducting classes in a converted home garage creates a more private and personal setting for training, which can be an advantage for students who prefer a smaller, less intimidating environment.
Wheelchair Accessible Parking Lot: This practical feature ensures that the school is accessible and convenient for visitors.
Restroom: A basic but essential amenity that provides comfort and convenience for all students.

What is worth choosing about Twin Dragons Taekwondo II is its reputation for having highly skilled and dedicated teachers. The positive review from a black belt student who calls the teachers the "best in the region" is a powerful endorsement of the quality of instruction. For parents, the "Little Ninja" class offers a great opportunity for their children to begin their martial arts journey in a structured and fun way. While the incident with the dog is a significant point of concern for parents, the fact that the school was "very apologetic" and provided a refund suggests a high level of accountability and a genuine desire to do the right thing. The sincerity of the parent who wrote the review—stating they have "no hard feelings" and are simply informing other parents—lends credibility to the overall positive impression of the teaching quality. The small-scale, personal nature of the school means that students likely receive more individual attention than they would in a larger facility. For anyone in Missouri seeking a martial arts program with top-notch instruction and a caring teacher, Twin Dragons Taekwondo II is a place to consider, with the caveat of taking proper precautions regarding the unique home-based setting.

Twin Dragons Taekwondo II Reviews
Mr. Hardin conducts his Union class out of his home. He turned his garage into his dojo. Our 5 year old son completed his first 8 week little ninja class and he really enjoyed it. He went to begin his second 8 week session this past Tuesday. When he went to use the restroom inside of Mr. Hardin's home, our son was bit on the face by their dog. Our son did not do anything to provoke the dog. We were told that the dog is usually in the kennel during classes and that Mr. Hardin's children must have let the dog out. They were very apologetic and provided a refund to us for this new 8 week session that we had paid for. We understand accidents happen, but we were not made aware that there was a dog inside of the home that could be dangerous. We just want other parents to know that there is a dog inside of the home so that they can make sure to take proper precautions. Mr. Hardin is a very good teacher and our son enjoyed his classes; however, our son is scared to go back. We have no hard feelings and understand that this was a complete accident, but we do feel it is our job as parents to inform other parents about there being a dog there who could present a danger to their children so that they can take proper precautions.
