★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We absolutely love this taekwondo studio! My daughter has been practicing Taekwondo at “The Way” for over a year now.The growth we’ve seen in her confidence, discipline, and physical ability has been incredible. The instructors are patient, passionate, and truly care about each student’s progress—not just in martial arts, but as individuals. The environment is positive, respectful, and encouraging. They do a great job of balancing structure with fun, and the sense of community here is amazing. My daughter looks forward to every class and always leaves feeling empowered.I highly recommend “The Way” to any parent looking for a program that builds character as much as it teaches skill.I truly want to thank each one of the instructors and volunteers for the pride they take in their practice.
August 02 · Koren ColacurcioI’ve attended several Taekwondo schools as a child on the east coast (one of which being your stereotypical “McDojo”). A year and a half ago, it was time to finally introduce my then 6 year old son to Taekwondo and decided to join The Way Martial Arts Center.I have been extremely impressed with everything The Way has to offer, from the great facility to the instructors who are just amazing with the kids! They make classes fun and engaging, while also teaching respect, integrity, discipline and confidence, which has done wonders for my child. The thing I love most about The Way is the community that the owners have built amongst the students and their families. From student summer camps and parents night out events to birthday parties, family classes and dojang fantasy football leagues, this is NOT a common “McDojo”… It’s a place to grow physically and mentally, learn how to live with a positive “black belt attitude”, and to meet amazing people who want to see you succeed, whatever your goals are!“A family that kicks together, sticks together!”
February 05 · Devin FischerI wanted both of my girls to learn how to defend themselves for obvious reasons and during peak Covid time, I reached out to the center that hosted two separate martial arts.Master Nini called me back very quickly and offered a free class to see what she had to offer and the girls liked it. They decided to stick to it and turned the like into a love. The love into a beautiful art and skill. They have met many awesome people, made friends and grew in so many ways. Learned team work, perseverance, patient, integrity and what it truly means to be a black belt. Like the pervious comment, there are fun things included, like summer camp, parents night out and having fun in the Maple Valley parade. I joined after seeing my girls in their first tournament and being so proud! It has changed me as well. This is the place to go if you're unsure what type or martial art to put you or your child in and we have many moms with their kids who have joined as well as many other adults. It's fun and you learn amazing things! I wish I had takent the offer and started sooner. But I'm here now, and so happy I decided to join!
January 17 · Mrs. BeadlesOur son has been attending 'The Way Martial Arts Center' for some time and has now worked his way up to a green belt in Han Mu Do, with hopefully higher belts to come! 🙂His self respect and respect for others has increased exponentially since the beginning of this journey and it's a journey he is enjoying immensely. The focus and attention given to each student is incredible, no one is left behind. Higher belts are present during each class of their own volition. Knowledge and direction is passed along, higher to lower belt with positivity and dedication. We couldn't be happier than our Son is part of this class and community, I couldn't recommend 'The Way Martial Arts Center' any more highly, it's an incredible school.
June 19 · David McCormackWe heard about “The Way” via word of mouth in our community. (Not just from one person but eight separate families recommended!) We signed up very easily after a trial class at no cost and our five yr old loves it! The teachers are so patient and kind with the kids but also make it fun for them. We’re super happy to have found them!
