August 17 · LeaThe fact that the instructor, Sensei Jude Miller, has taken multiple martial arts and has attained a black belt in them is one reason that you know you have come to the right dojo. The next is his knowledge and the dojungs direct lineage to Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido. Last but not least is that he teaches children for a living so it translates over to teaching in Aikido and Tangsoodo. I am in the military and unfortunately had to PCS (move). I am eager to return and train some more as soon as I can. The Center For Aikido & Tangsoodo will always be my family.
June 23 · Dorian JohnsonI am thrilled that my son loves his martial arts classes so much he stays for 2 classes when he goes. We have seen his confidence grow and he has an understanding of respect that I wish every young adult could experience. His instructor is very good at what he does and never hesitates to show the correct way to do something and my son has learned so much. I would recommend this center to anyone who is willing to put in the time to learn.
March 25 · Nora DimasI highly enjoy this school. I have been participating in tang for multiple years and have been with three different schools. Out of those schools, this one has felt more home to me than any of the others. Mr. Miller is a great and understanding teacher who has taken time out of his life to assist me in figuring some things out. He’s great at figuring out the best way to teach someone so they understand, and is willing to adjust class plans if a student is sick or injured. I’m hoping to be able to continue with this school for many years.
June 22 · Kaitlynn DarrowI started studying Tang at the Center two years ago (at 28!), and I have never looked back. This martial arts school is very traditional, and we can trace our lineage back to the founder of the art - which can be hard to find these days. I've always been fascinated by martial arts, but I didn't want to study at a cookie cutter school. So when I found this place I knew I had found something special. The instructor strives for nothing but the best for his students and challenges us to push ourselves to be better not only for ourselves but for those around us. I have grown so much as a person since I have started my martial arts journey here, and I wouldn't trade my experience here for anything in the world.
