★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was welcomed with open arms by the other adults in the class and by Mr. Ferguson. It's a little scary starting something at 41, but this is a great place to try it!. The classes are small and there is a great community of adults motivated to improve. Mr. Ferguson is always professional and funny when it comes to instruction. I especially love that Tang Soo Do is unique from other forms of martial arts and really focuses on body mechanics.
April 13 · Amy MorganLittle tigers - preschoolers program is so good! Mr. Ferguson is so talented with young kids and gets them motivated in ways that make them feel so confident. He is patient with my son and so kind. I love that he’s learning discipline and respect in such a fun way. If you’re interested in trying martial arts, please try this place! Our friends take their daughter here and it was the best recommendation.
October 11 · joanna carlI have taken 2 self defense courses through Tao Martial Arts. I found them to be much more practical and humane than other self defense courses I have taken. The instructors acknowledged that it’s likely that some students enrolled due to previously experiencing a traumatic violent event. They took care not to trigger traumatic responses. There was no victim blaming. It was nice.
February 05 · Cat SwetelBest martial arts studio!!!! My two kids had participated in martial arts at a different mixed martial arts studio and became burnt out with the classes and pressure out on them, we found Tao Martial Arts a little over a year ago and enrolled my daughter. My daughter’s love of martial arts has returned. Mr. Ferguson is an amazing teacher and makes each class different and fun! His passion for teaching Tang Soo Do shows in each class and in each student that is in class. If you’re considering learning a martial art, our family would highly recommend Tao Martial Arts!!
December 06 · Leigh LusterMister Ferguson is a natural born teacher. He easily identifies not only what his students need to be taught but how each individual can best learn it. He patiently guides each student to bring out their best. He works equally well with preschoolers through senior citizens altering moves where needed but leaving them all feeling accomplished and respected.
