July 26 · Ashley LimaDeeply Disappointed by Unprofessional ConductI was a student at this academy alongside my wife, and we were both proud to be part of the community. After some time, I stopped training, but my wife continued and eventually became the academy’s first black belt, what followed led to one of the most disappointing and painful experiences we've had.Inappropriate Conduct and Misuse of AuthorityOver time, Master Park began crossing professional boundaries with my wife. Despite her turning him down twice, he continued to pursue her and eventually coerced her into going out to dinner with him. She returned late—around midnight—which created a serious issue in our relationship and led to emotional strain that still affects us today. His behavior was not only unprofessional but an abuse of the trust that should exist between an instructor and student. No teacher should use their position of authority to pressure students into uncomfortable or inappropriate situations.Poor Justification and Lack of AccountabilityWhen confronted, Master Park excused his actions by claiming that “in Korea, it’s normal to socialize with students.” Regardless of cultural context, what matters here is professionalism, respect, and boundaries—standards that were clearly violated.Final ThoughtsWe came to this academy with respect, commitment, and genuine passion for martial arts. My wife put years of effort and dedication into her training, only to be left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected by the very person meant to lead and mentor her.She has since stopped training entirely and has no intention of returning. I’m writing this review to share our experience honestly and to help others make informed decisions about where they choose to train.Respect and integrity should be the foundation of any martial arts academy. Sadly, we did not find that here.
July 16 · Claudio BWe are just very enthusiastic about Master Park’s Taekwondo classes. We could see he has a lot of experience teaching kids of all ages and we trust him teaching Martial Arts as well as excellent morals and values.
February 17 · Ms. EDMy son got bullied by other students on this academy, and the teacher didn't do anything. The other students were long time students. When tried to cancel due to the bullying, he pulled the cancellation policy which it's very strict. Unfair business practice.
September 02 · Jane SmithThis is an amazing taekwondo class! The master is great with kids and teaches them very well!He takes time with each student and helps them focus on learning techniques.
