Just a heads up if you sign up it’s a one year contract + membership fees. I was not told at all until AFTER I paid Zelle, for 1 month only + uniform, book, T-shirt which I never got, no receipt, nothing signed, & I was refused a refund, then told I OWE for one year so I don’t get my items nor a refund ! Wow ! I never got my uniform, book, & t-shirt. The owner Manuel said no refund and that I owe him even if I was sick and never signed anything in agreement at all! I felt forced and pressured. He was physically aggressive too to try to show off , hurt my arm, no apology, and I’m a lady. Wow ! I was not given assurance I could even try out to see how I feel if it even works for me. The contract must be because the business lacks confidence, stability, & success to allow people a choice to continue or not, other places don’t force contracts . I became sick with bronchitis 3 months , which worsened after I signed up and suddenly I got the silent cold treatment by the owner Manuel. This tells me it’s all about $$$. Some students enjoy it there but it’s not for me, I left for my own peace. It isn’t worth it to fight with someone who doesn’t care, is defensive, prideful, and difficult. I can’t train under anyone unprofessional and emotionally immature anymore. I found a another place to train and they hear me out , offer assurance , have meaningful conversations, communicate how they’d like me to benefit, & a free class to see how I feel.Be watchful if owners are all about the money/business vs human centered and relational equal treatment- no pressure tactics. There are few caring owners out there but this is not one of them unfortunately unless you pay. It’s worth the time to search for a genuine true leader who looks out for others, not just self. Skills and experiences are extensive with Manuel but overall poor human treatment and interactions - very pressuring while I was physically ill for 3 months & non-responsive once I got sick. This tells me clearly he saw me more as potential long-term profit instead of realizing health comes first. At first I was very excited of his experience and classes.Manuel became easily angered when I said I don’t feel cared for and that I never got my items I ordered months ago, so I wanted a refund. He never responded when I asked if my shirt, uniform, & book that cost $120. He angrily said I owe him for 1 year when he never told me BEFORE about the 1 yr contract. Had I known, I never would’ve paid anything. Do not pay Manuel Zelle if he asks you to! There are no customer protections on Zelle. Service payments should be PayPal (service only not family and friends ).He never reordered my uniform after my uniform I waited for was sold to someone else before I came to the 1st class. I had communicated everything of my illnesses day after day and no response or remedy or assurance - (not even in a business way ). I overlooked it but he never offered to reorder a uniform, so I lost $220 but told him to keep the money knowing he would anger and refuse. I tried to get him to care that I’m sick recovering, cannot make it, & had no idea of the one year contract but he just got angry so I left quickly . Out of anger he said I’m dismissed after I told him I left and asked for refund, so he is a crook. He doesn’t care and I feel disappointed it was all about the money all along. Not worth the stress and worth it to pay more for a Sifu that genuinely cares and has faith in students in order to thrive and grow optimally through thick and thin in life because we all go through difficulty and need healthy relationships/sports as healthy outlets. 😄fyi this type of thing is common with martial arts owners so take time and do research ! Go with whoever hears you out what you seek, is patient , positive, supportive, doesn’t talk over you, communicates professionally, doesn’t take personal easily, doesn’t just want his way, & doesn’t rush you. See how owners respond to questions & if you’re shown care for who you are, or if it’s more about just business and trying to get you booked in.

Authentic Kung Fu from a martial arts Sifu trained in kung fu, karate, and Taekwondo! My son has been going here for a year - and they make you earn your white belt. Lots of adult students too... good solid fundamentals.
