August 07 · Carson PalfreyRebellion is a great place to train for both adults and children! I have learned sooo much from Professor Jaime over the years and he has helped me develop my game all along the way from blue to black belt. He is an active competitor, versed in all the latest techniques that are used at the highest level and has tons of knowledge to share to beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. Jaime and Zach have built a wonderful culture at Rebellion and put in the effort to make sure everyone reels encouraged and welcome.
March 24 · Michelle Bigaif I could give 6 stars I would!I was never sure how I’d feel in the martial arts, being a male-dominated and overall intimidating sport, but Jaime and the whole crew helped me feel so welcome here. Even as a smaller woman, I’ve always felt safe, supported, encouraged, and empowered!! I truly believe anyone and everyone can benefit from the martial arts, especially learning BJJ from Jaime and his coaches. There’s a space and a home for you here, and you’ll get a hell of a workout!! Can’t recommend enough, here’s your sign to sign up if you’ve been considering it :)
August 20 · Hailey BenderThis gym means a lot to me. I came in at a time when I felt lost and looking for something to ground me and naturally Rebellion quickly became one of the only places I actually looked forward to showing up to.There’s something really special about the energy here. It’s calm, focused, and respectful. Everyone trains hard. You feel safe and welcomed.Coach Jaime is a big reason for that. From the way he runs class to the way he carries himself, you can tell he genuinely cares. He leads with kindness and intention, and he’s consistent. I told him recently how much he’s impacted me, and I meant it. He’s created a space that feels like home—where people can grow, push themselves, and be part of something solid.I didn’t expect to love jiu-jitsu the way I do now and if it wasn’t for coach encouraging me and pushing me as well others in classes, I probably wouldn’t. This place had a lot to do with that. I’m really grateful I found Rebellion. My only regret is that I didn’t find my people sooner.
August 22 · Faduma SaidI have been coming to Rebellion for the weight training classes. I have been working out in various gyms for 20+ years in the past. Without a doubt, Coach Zach (as well as assistant instructor Dylan) is a world class instructor. His programming and instructions to get us to slowly increase our load and then deload each monthly cycle is methodical & effective. For me personally, the work I do in this gym really help power my physically demanding taiko drumming and TaiChi. He also trains athletes to compete in the CrossFit games. The gym is welcoming and encouraging. I'm by no mean the strongest participants at the gym, but everyone belongs if they work hard. Come check it out!
