Pekiti-Tirsia Tactical Combat Trade Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I started with a private introductory class and immediately knew it was for me. My background in wing chun and shotokan were complimented by this beautiful and intricate art. Mr.Allen’s extensive experience shows through in his instruction. He not only explains the practical applications of the art but also ties in the history and cultural significance of the movements. Pekiti-Trisia is an efficient combat form that, when learned under the right instructor, will enable the practitioner to evaluate and react to an opponent offensively and successfully. I look forward to learning and eventually sharing these treasured skills. I thank Mr. Allen for making it possible for me to have this valuable opportunity.
September 01 · Matt MPekiti-Tirsia is a Tactical Combat Art from the Island of Negros in the Philippines. It starts with edged weapons first but then goes into empty hands called Dumpag but these Empty Hands are unlike anything else I have ever seen. It goes from Limb Destructions into Primary Targets into Finishers. QUICK & DONE ON MY FEET!! You can actually finish the person on your feet!!Every Strike has a Destruction and every Destruction has a Strike. They are linked together.
October 21 · Samuel LarkinWhen I was a child, I envisioned the martial arts of the Far East as something that was both intricately beautiful, yet highly practical in the heat of combat. This fascination turned into a journey that had me trying Taekwondo, Karate, Aikido, and Wing Chun Kung Fu to name a few. However, out of all the martial arts I’ve studied, nothing even comes close to matching the effectiveness that is Pekiti Tirsia. Instead of being indoctrinated with mystic mumbo jumbo, the students are given geometric concepts and physics to show you how to quickly destroy an opponent’s attack. I’ve been training for over a year now, and I can tell you that this is a complete fighting system. Everything you learn from the weapons can be applied to the empty hand techniques, which is great. The instructor is very knowledgeable in his craft and realizes that you won’t remember everything on your first try. This brings me to another point, this art is very intricate, so don’t get discouraged if you can’t grasp something right away. The class is very fun, and if you stay with it, you will develop a skill set that is not found in traditional martial arts.
October 10 · Joe LopezThe lead instructors trained directly with Grand Tuhon Supremo Leo T Gaje for many years. This school is a hidden secret in Delaware. Excellent swordsmanship, knife defense and Filipino hand to hand combat is integrated into a powerful combat system. Ground tactics are also covered in detail.
