July 23 · Stephanie JosephVery good place for focusing and directing a toddler's energy :) the teacher is really great about building character and values as well. They take a few minutes every class to sit around and discuss their days and character words that are part of their character development program.
July 19 · Bereket KifleMy son has been attending classes here, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Sensei Bill and his team have a remarkable ability to engage young kids, maintaining their focus and discipline in a fun and supportive environment.I initially expected the classes to be high-energy sessions with kids merely expending energy. However, the program emphasizes proper technique, personal growth, and emotional intelligence. Sensei Bill dedicates time to each student, ensuring they grasp the fundamentals and feel confident in their abilities.A standout feature is the “Word of the Month,” where children learn about concepts like empathy, impulse control, and anger management. These lessons have had a noticeable positive impact on my son’s behavior and self-awareness.My son eagerly shares his new skills and knowledge with friends and family after each class.I highly recommend this program to any parent seeking a comprehensive martial arts class for their child that goes beyond physical training.
May 19 · Dan ParcellOur 5 year old kid started here about 4 weeks ago. We have had a positive experience and certainly recommend the place. Read on for more specifics.- Management of the school is top-notch through Bill (the owner) and his team. Professionally handled.- The instructors are excellent. Specifically Jenny, Bill, Tony and Devon taught our kid and they did a splendid job.- Bill and the instructors seem genuinely committed to their job, and interested in teaching karate to young children.- The only negative was that one of the secondary instructors was not satisfactory during week-1, but upon conveying the same to Bill this was rectified quickly.Verdict: recommend with 5/5 stars.
August 20 · Ranga DeshpandeMy name is Christian DiBona and currently I am 16 years old. I first went to this Martial arts school when I was very young (around 6 or so) and I practiced here for 9 years and eventually made it up to a green belt. This martial arts school is one of the best ones I’ve ever been to. Sensi Bill was the nicest guy ever and from time to time I like to check back on the website and I see all of my old classmates as instructors now, it’s really amazing to see how far everyone has come. I will say this, this karate school has taught me life lessons I still use today and I still practice this kemp style of martial arts on my own. I would finally like to say this to any parents looking to enroll your child, please sign them up! This was one of the best karate experiences I’ve ever had and your child will never forget the memories they will make at this school and for the instructors new and old id like to say thank you for making my experiences great all of those years ago and a special thanks to Bill Craig to taught me things I could of never learned in a classroom. Thank you for everything Northshore martial arts team!
