Neil Stone's Karate Academy Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Neil was incredibly rude to my son. He cried after every session. My son has Down’s syndrome and he was made fun of by the other kids and Neil joined them. My son learned nothing except how he’s inferior to some people because of his condition. DO NOT bring your kids here under any circumstances.
February 25 · PineangoNeil Stone allowed me to be part of a father's day father and son class and made it accessible for me, a dad who's disabled. What a great group of people at Neil Stone's Karate. Highly recommend.
June 15 · Chris McEleneyWhen we enrolled my son into your academy my hopes were that karate would become an interest for him, that he would learn how to focus his energy in a positive way, that he would become self disciplined, and over all a more balanced, more self confident kid. We have seen major changes in him over the past 16 months. He has grown in all of the areas I mentioned above and matured in the process. Karate has majorly helped with his focus and his self confidence in his day to day life at home and most importantly right now, at school. As you’re aware, he was on a behavior/sticker program in his classroom. That ended in the past week because his teacher told him that he doesn’t need it anymore. He knows what he needs to do & how to behave to have a successful day at school. I can’t thank you all enough for your open lines of communication, and helping to hold him accountable for his actions, and work with us & school to get him to where he needs to be to continue to grow on his path to success.Your academy is much more than just going to karate class. You have created a safe & loving environment for these kids and parents alike. I literally feel like I sit there and watch my son blossom before my eyes. Thank you all for that.
December 14 · Erin SullivanI have been at Neil Stone's Karate Academy for 6 years now. I started because my grandson had been there for about a year. I can't begin to explain how much my grandson was helped by attending NSKA. He has since moved out of state but everything he learned he has taken with him to be a better person.I am now 63 and still taking Karate at NSKA. There have been a lot of things going on in my life but one constant was NSKA. They are always there for you. After covid came they started online classes. Using zoom I was able to continue Karate. I have since moved out of the area to Florida. The dojo is starting to reopen, but they are continuing the zoom online classes. I am very grateful that they will be continuing that. I can't say enough about Mr. Stone and the staff there and all they do for everyone. I highly recommend Neil Stone's Karate Academy for anyone at any age.
June 06 · Karen ProctorMy two daughters have been practicing karate at Neil Stone's Karate Academy now for 6 months for my oldest and 1 1/2 years for my youngest. Neil and his staff have done so much to help our children learn and grow. They do a great job of pulling together the children's home lives, school lives, and life at the dojo and I believe positively impacting all areas of their lives. I believe this is one of the best decisions my husband and I made, to enroll them in this martial arts school. This decision was made simply because my little daughter Rebecca decided at the age of 4 that she wanted to "try karate". I had met Neil Stone prior and was so impressed with how he interacted with my older daughter. He was so respectful towards her. He requested that she look him in the eyes when she said hello and shook his hand. I knew as soon as Rebecca wanted do karate, that was the dojo we were headed for. If you are thinking about putting your child in karate, I HIGHLY recommend you come and check out Neil Stone's Karate Academy. You will be happy you did.
