★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We love National Tae Kwon Do Center! Master George has a special way with the kids. He can teach discipline, respect, concentration, in a way that challenges the kids and connects with them on their level no matter their age. He helps them build confidence and teaches perseverance, which is definitely a skill this next generation needs whether in school, other sports, it just life. Master George has also other fun activities and events throughout the year to help create a community with the students and families.National Tae Kwon Do Center has a nice two-week trial period with uniform included for $20 to see if your child likes it. We did it and my son who started at 5 years old loved it and made the commitment to continue and get his black belt! I would highly recommend National Tae Kwon Do Center if you are looking for a TKD or martial art in the Pasadena Area.
June 24 · Tan ThanWe started at NTC almost eight months ago and it's been a really good experience so far. Master George is firm but kind and good at connecting with the kids. He focuses on the art/technique of Tae Kwon Do but also on building confidence, focus and discipline, and working towards goals. My son has really embraced his experience so far and it's been confidence-building for him which is so gratifying to see as a parent. I would highly recommend this dojang!
June 13 · amy gardnerBring your children to NTC in pasadena to train with Master George to learn discipline, respect and gain self Confidence. My child is very happy training at this Dojo a safe and good environment.
June 17 · jose villarrealI started at NTC taking classes with my two sons. It has been an amazing experience for my family. It is great to have this experience with my boys. Master George is a wonderful and patient teacher. He is great combination of firm and caring. He tailors the class for every experience level so us old, out of shape novices can enjoy the class with the young energetic newbies, and the more experienced, higher belt levels. I highly recommend Taekwondo and NTC as a way to be physically active as a alternative to regular excercise classes.
September 18 · Heather SharpMaster George has a genuine passion for teaching and a deep care for all his students, which is evident in every class. He goes above and beyond in every session, ensuring that the kids not only practice Taekwondo but truly understand the lessons of the day. Although classes are scheduled for 40 minutes, Master George doesn’t hesitate to extend the time if needed to complete his teaching, which shows his commitment to the students' learning. While the extended sessions might require a bit more scheduling flexibility, it’s a small trade-off for the quality of instruction and care he provides. This dedication is likely why many parents, ourselves included, travel from far away instead of opting for nearer dojangs. The extra commute time is worth it, seeing how much my two kids enjoy and grow from these lessons. I highly recommend Master George’s Taekwondo class to any parent considering martial arts training for their child.
