★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Mountain View Martial Arts and Fitness is a fantastic dojang, like a second family, that my kids and I have spent six years with. The physical and mental training for self-defense as well as health, is something that we will carry with us forever and is integrated in many aspects of our lives by the tenets of Taekwon-Do: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Contol and Indomitable Spirit. Senior Master Mason and the other instructors teach students the tools to achieve great success to your fullest potential.
April 16 · Cynthia NallIts a family affair! We started at Mountain View Martial Arts & Fitness as a way for our 2-year-old to have an activity while our oldest was playing t-ball. We were so impressed with the structure and patience the instructors showed that we signed up our oldest. Eventually the entire family started taking classes at Mountain View (mom and dad included). Master Mason is great and works with all fitness levels and special needs. He has an inherent ability to know just how hard to push. We love that it is an activity we can all do as a family. Leave the outside world stresses, behind, get some exercise, learn discipline, and have fun!
February 26 · Adam SwensonMy daughters have been attending Mountain View for almost 2 years. Our experience has been nothing but positive. They began in the transition class and have now moved onto the the full TKD classes. The transition classes help to make the information more manageable for the younger kids to learn and understand. They learn how to protect themselves out in the world, self control, respect, as well as keeping active. It also involves lots of fun activities to keep the kids having fun. Master Mason is an incredible instructor. He truly cares about each one of his students and makes you feel like part of the TKD Family as soon as you walk through the door. I would highly recommend Mountain View! Come in and give it a try!
February 16 · Amanda ThorsenThere is a great difference between just doing something and doing it well. Doing things the right way distinguishes Mountain View from other martial arts schools. Having trained at other martial arts schools, I appreciate the quality of the instruction provided at Mountain View and the school's gift for understanding that each student is unique and requires something different. My three children and I all train at Mountain View Martial Arts. We would recommend the school for its exceptional Taekwon-Do instruction alone. It's made even more praiseworthy by the life lessons that are intrinsic in the program. The school not only prepares students to defend themselves, but also teaches them to have good character, manners, self-esteem, discipline, and a powerful determination.I strongly recommend Mountain View Martial Arts and Fitness.
February 05 · Christopher PhillipsThe owner David Mason is an egotistical human. They claim to take children as young as 1.5 years of age as advertised on their building. This is a false advertisement. My son is 3 and there was another child that would push him. He would defend himself and would be disciplined as the 15 year old instructor wouldn't see what was going on. I was approached in front of all parents in the middle of class that if my son didn't listen he wouldn't be allowed on the floor. What they failed to see was that he was being pushed and poked by another troubled child. It is a disgrace to be spoken to so poorly in front of all parents in such a disrespectful tone. I wouldn't subject your child/children to this environment. Only take your 1.5 year old child if they have an adult understanding of a class environment.
