★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have been under new ownership since 2019, starting the Master Masaki era at Masaki Martial Arts. Formerly known as Paik's Martial Arts. We have worked hard to create an inviting culture that puts Martial Arts and our community members first. We would love to offer you a free class to check out our facilities and meet us face to face with no strings attached. We offer classes for students from 5 years old to 75 years old. We pride ourselves on inclusivity and make sure all identities and orientations are welcome.
August 08 · Ryan FallonMr. Fallon and Master Masaki are excellent teachers. I attended the Fitchburg location, but occasionally attended at the West location. (Members are allowed to attend classes at any location.) Mr. Fallon is a dedicated teacher, focused on positive interactions with kids, and detailed feedback for anyone able to hear it. He provides excellent insight into body movement, the meaning of moves, and tips on how to execute complex moves and patterns. He's great with kids - firm but caring - the best attributes you want for a teacher and caregiver.Master Masaki is the best person to have taken over this school. He knew exactly its weak points and has been able to overcome and rise to the challenge of improving the school, helping it to ascend to a even better status. He took a difficult culture and made it positive, focused on caring about people and helping them grow. I'm proud to wear his name on my back.
August 01 · Chris S.I have been attending this school for over a decade and have not only learned martial arts, but also confidence, leadership, and many other skills that have helped me through life.
August 15 · Sophie JenkinsI appreciate the amount of effort that goes into running this school. They work great with children, teens, and adults and have classes for each group. Plus some family classes all combined!
August 07 · F. TimothyPaik's TMAC has been great for our whole family. They offer a wide variety of core classes with the basic plan. Classes are divided based on age and belt level. Several nights a week there are family classes that you can take with your child. For a little more you can sign up for additional classes in weapons training, team training, parents class and cardio class. The whole family can be there 6 nights a week if you want.Prior to joining we looked into several other schools and did not see what we were looking for. At Paik's respect for instructors and classmates is not optional. The equipment is always clean and neatly put away. Instructors are always willing to discuss the goals of you and your child. Students only test when they have enough core classes and demonstrate proficiency.I recommend Paik's to anybody looking for a traditional marital arts school!
