This is not just a gym; it's a legendary training ground where professional and amateur fighters, as well as complete newcomers, share the same mat. Under the guidance of the iconic Ray Longo, often hailed as the "Godfather of MMA Coaching," the gym has cultivated an atmosphere that is both elite and inclusive. This unique environment ensures that whether your goal is to lose weight, gain confidence, or step into the cage, you are training in a place that fosters serious results.
The culture at Longo's is what truly sets it apart. As one reviewer noted, the gym is "a second home" where you'll find a community that is friendly, supportive, and genuinely eager to help each other. It’s a place where humility is a core value, even among the highest-level fighters who train there. A father and 46-year-old student shared his experience of feeling completely at home and supported by younger practitioners, appreciating their patience as he regained his stamina. He highlighted the incredible experience of training alongside UFC champions and professional fighters, who are described as humble and gracious. The gym’s ethos is about more than just fighting; it’s about personal growth, community, and the shared journey of pushing oneself to be better. As one long-time student and fellow "teammate" expressed, "You’ll walk in nervous, you’ll leave sore—but in the best, most badass way possible." This sentiment perfectly captures the transformative power of Longo’s MMA.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Longo’s MMA is AMAZING!!! The Ultimate MMA Gym offering the best mix of modern training yet maintaining the old school boxing gym aura.At any given time there are active UFC Fighters training on the mats with newcomers to the sport and a variety of other professional and amateur fighters. There is no pressure for anyone to spar, however, it is fantastic to be able to train with a large group of people who actively fight. Everyone is friendly and eager to help each other. For a new person entering the gym, if you are a bit shy it might seem like people are not friendly. This is not the case and instead everyone is very focused on their training and many have partners that they usually train with. Be brave, introduce yourself and anyone in the gym will help you in any way.I have trained in many great schools but this gym is something else, to be a part of a Legendary Fight Team is exciting. Even if you decide not to step into the cage, attending a fighting event and cheering for your fellow Teammates is invigorating. It is amazing how many UFC Fighters I have met at the gym in a short time. One week I came in and UFC Champ Merab was in the cage, a week after his Title Defense, helping Coach Phumi prepare for his upcoming fight which he won. A few days later UFC Champ, Professor Matt Serra was in the gym and the list goes on and on. Walking into the gym is like being in a UFC video game. It is truly a humbling honor to train on the mats and in the cage sharing the blood, sweat and tears of some of the greatest UFC Fighters. All the Coaches are phenomenal. Coach Longo is the G-d Father of MMA Coaching. I know he cringes when he hears this because he is a humble man. However, if the UFC steps up and creates an MMA Coach Hall of Fame, Coach Longo will be the first to be honored.I have only been training at the gym for 4 months but I feel like I am at home. It is amazing that while the fighters are proud, they are humble and not arrogant. This is because fighters test themselves and losses happen. One learns and grows from the experience as a fighter and person. Over the years I have found that the martial artists who display arrogance and excessive ego are the ones who never fought but talk like they have. I have not met anyone like this at the gym and am grateful for it.As a 46 year old Father with two Amazing Kids, I still fit in with the younger practitioners. I appreciate their patience as I regain my stamina. Each class I am able to exert more and more and am now able to attend back to back classes. There is so much to learn and I am grateful that I found my second home. The amount of positive support and encouragement is profound.Steve SachsOSS🙏
April 22 · Steve Sachs - Defender DogThis place is legit whatever your goals are here you will get better by being consistent and showing up to train. Even if you’re a beginner and you have no idea what you’re doing everyone here is willing to help from the coaches to the more experienced members at the gym. I recommend anyone who wants to learn martial arts or grow as a martial artist to come to Longo’s MMA
May 02 · Oakkar KyawI am approaching 53 years old and felt I was losing a lot of my reflex skills and overall energy. As a birthday present to myself, I decided to join a martial arts gym. I did a lot of research and Longo’s Mixed Martial Arts was known to be a good reputable school. I decided to give the class a try. My worst fear is that I would go into an environment where I would get hurt because of my lack of experience. My first class was pleasantly surprising. The instructors and very experienced members knew that I was new and took a lot of time teaching me and improving my skills. After a couple of weeks, I made a lot of improvements and my confidence grew as I learned new skills. My energy has improved greatly and I now look forward to attending classes as much as possible. My approaching 53 is now feeling like a younger 40 with quicker reflexes and more energy.
February 24 · Carl EldemireI joined the gym recently and I really like it, trainings are great and they have even greater coaches that teach with excellent technique. The ambiance of the gym is also great, awesome partners and I have never felt left out even though I’m kinda new to some of the trainings.
February 03 · Mireya RodriguezLongos MMA has been an enjoyable experience for me, from the welcoming and accommodating staff to the knowledgeable and experienced instructors. Going to a new gym especially an MMA gym is stressful but they have made the transition easy for me. The classes are competitive and informative and I can see my progress with each class grow.
