Karate international is a great fit for my son. He has attended karate classes here for about 4 years. Karate has become his thing. The staff is very knowledgeable and encouraging and really teach the skills students learn to be applicable to life. They encourage students to be leaders in the community and include input from home and school before students advance. It’s a great all around program and one we will continue with as my son pursues his black belt and beyond.

Shihan Joe, Sensei Shanon, Sarabeth, Mr. Ron, and the whole team at Karate International are amazing with kids. We found this dojo after going to a birthday party, and I was really impressed with how great Shihan Joe was at keeping the kids focused and having fun.Now that my son has been going to KI for over a year, he’s found something that helps him work hard and feel proud of himself. In case you're wondering, the Little Dragon class is 30 minutes long. It’s a fun way for young kids to burn energy while learning something new!

My 5 year old has been going here for a few months now and loves it. He had tried a different karate studio in the area that was not a good fit for him. Karate International seems better suited for this age group. The teachers are wonderful and the activities are all very engaging and fun for the kids. It's never a fight to get him to go to class, he's always excited and they keep progressing at a good pace with belt stripes and colors.

My child has been attending for about a year and a half. He likes it and is still motivated to keep going. I like it for several reasons; 1. The owners are parents. The have a lot of experience with children and a lot of grace for parents. They have put together a program that seems to work for both. 2. They have a unique ability to make every child feel seen and special. They know how to keep children motivated. 3.They provide many community builders outside of karate classes and tournaments. They host several non karate family events, volunteer opportunities, holiday parties and special fun nights. 4. They offer specialty classes in addition to their required core classes for students who'd like to learn additional skills. Lastly and most important is that Shihan, Sensei Shannon and all the instructors are truly dedicated to their craft. They are kind, professional, and I trust them with my child.
