April 03 · Leslie VargasChief Master Raimondi has been my JKD instructor for over 11 years and has always provided the best instruction possible. I have been continuing to learn more each class and it always has been an exciting and uplifting experience. There is always something more to learn, I am very pleased and will continue my training.

April 03 · Nick CasoThrough the years, I'd studied other martial arts, but Jeet Kune Do was always that mysterious discipline that I never saw on tv or knew anyone that practiced it. But like every scrawny Asian kid that I grew up with, Bruce Lee was of course our hero. I'd come to grips with the fact that I'd never be able to find any JKD teachers, let alone any good ones. Fast forward to last year when I found some YT clips of something called the Wednesday Night Group. At first, it looked like a bunch of older dudes that worked insurance jobs, but, when you watch the videos, WOW! After getting sucked into another YT black hole, I found out that one of them, Sifu Raimondi, was a teacher just a few minutes away from me. I called, attended my first class--instantly hooked. What is apparent is that they care not only about preserving the principles that Bruce taught, but they truly care about your safety and getting you to a point where you can SAVE YOUR OWN LIFE, if put in the situation. JKD is no-frills; it's putting an end to a confrontation quickly. Or, if you just want to get in shape, the conditioning portion of the class run by Sifu's son, will make you question your life choices. It's even worth the tuition just to hear stories about the students of Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee! Nevertheless, it's all done in a learning environment where it's catered to your speed of learning and all questions are welcomed.Classes are two, sometimes three, times a week. You can come and go and reserve/cancel spots through the app. Parking is ample and classes are during the evenings at a later time so it doesn't interfere with my work schedule. Equipment is wiped down and there are sanitizing stations throughout. Check it out and see you on the mat!

February 05 · Jay NaluptaI trained at Jeet Kune Do-Roselle Park for years. I have always found the instructors and staff to be more than friendly. For Chris Gerhard, you are missing out on quality JKD instruction. Sifu Raimondi is one of the best instructors around. He is a direct student of Ted Wong, who trained under the legendary Bruce Lee. In fact, Ted Wong logged more hours of training under Bruce Lee than anyone, including Dan Inosanto. If you are looking for the closest to real JKD out there, this is the place to go.

April 03 · David LaveryI don’t ever do reviews, let alone Google unless absolutely necessary and in this case, while searching for a JKD gym, I felt it was deemed necessary. No ifs, buts or maybes - this business’s customer service department was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. The lady on the other end was even starting a full blown argument with me. It was ludicrous! Suffice to say, they lost me as a potential client and a few others (some of my friends were interested as well).Of course, I didn’t check out the facility or engage in a free session so I can’t rate how they run things, train and so on. However, it tells a lot about a business when you get a horrendous interaction from one of their employees.Hmmm it goes to tell how the gym’s atmosphere may be in its entirety. If I could give this place 0/5, you bet ya I would.
