The academy also offers flexible options for training, including both onsite services and online classes, which makes it easier for busy Colorado families to fit martial arts into their schedule. I have had an amazing experience getting started on my MA training journey. Chief Kurt’s contagious positive attitude, encouraging demeanor, training style and dedication to his students wellbeing and his total commitment to building students of the highest character and skill is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend this school for any person of faith who wants to feel like part of a family and better themselves physically and mentally in learning to train in the Martial Arts.
April 15 · dP1My son started at FSMA when he was seven years old and five years later we have had the chance to see the benefit of consistent training, discipline, fun, community, and the chance to lead has had on our child. I have high expectations for those who get to speak into my children's lives, and Chief Kurt Frankenburg has not let my whole family, my son, nor me down. I appreciate the humility the Chief teaches the children and models himself. The instructors, including Jake and Kari from the past, and Ms. Linda for all five years, and Ms. Shelley more recently, and some others here and there have been very good, and I regard them. I recommend this school!
April 14 · SarahTraining at The Freedom School is clearly top tier. It is a very welcoming and warm place for kids and adults alike. Chief is great and is not only a gifted martial artist, but he and the staff are very capable teachers. Having trained martial arts for over 20 years myself, I am very picky over where my son trains and who trains him. There is no way I would take him anywhere else.
February 03 · Jason MayesI absolutely love Freedom School of Martial Arts! Coach Kurt is incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, always making sure the kids are learning in a positive and encouraging environment. The flexible class schedule makes it easy to fit into our routine, and the open mat sessions are perfect for catching up on missed lessons. My daughter is improving every day—gaining confidence, discipline, and skills that will benefit her beyond karate. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking for quality martial arts training!
February 04 · ALBIN P BABUI've been a member of at least four other martial arts schools in the past and attended multiple other schools when looking for a new school prior to becoming a new member. This school is by far the most friendly and supporting of its members as compared to any other school I have been associated with or looked at. The instruction is top-tier and covers a broad range of martial arts techniques. I particularly like that students are not restricted with regard what they are taught and care is taken to insure lower level students do not hurt or get hurt by their training partners.
