Crouching Tigers Introduce
Hoosier families know that finding activities that are both fun and educational for their children can be a challenge. That's why Crouching Tigers, a unique martial arts club, has become a trusted name in the Indianapolis area. This isn't your typical martial arts school; it's a program designed specifically for young children, using an engaging, story-based curriculum to teach not just physical skills, but also vital life lessons and safety skills. As one delighted parent noted, their child comes home not only showing off new martial arts moves but also demonstrating the morals and lessons learned in class, such as "being a good friend" and "stranger danger." This holistic approach sets Crouching Tigers apart, providing a foundation of confidence and personal responsibility that will benefit children far beyond their time in the program. The atmosphere is vibrant and positive, with certified instructors—affectionately known as "Senseis"—who make learning exciting and accessible for young minds. The program is built on the belief that children learn best through play and imagination, which is why they use captivating stories and friendly "Tiger" characters to make safety lessons memorable and non-threatening. For working families in Indianapolis, this club offers incredible convenience, often bringing their classes directly to childcare centers and schools, making it a seamless part of a child's day.
While a large part of the Crouching Tigers program is its mobile, on-site classes at various childcare and school locations across Indiana, they also have a central headquarters. The main location for Crouching Tigers is at 5255 Winthrop Ave Suite 7, Indianapolis, IN 46220, USA. This address serves as their central hub and a place where they hold classes, offering another convenient option for families who wish to enroll. The facility is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, which ensures that all families, regardless of mobility needs, can access their services. A clean and well-maintained restroom is also available for the comfort of students and their parents. The central location makes it a practical option for those in the surrounding neighborhoods, and its ease of access reflects the club’s commitment to providing a welcoming experience for everyone.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We love Crouching Tigers and Tumbling Tigers! My oldest child has been participating for the last 3 years at her daycare. She comes home and shows us the skills she learned but also the lessons and morals that are integrated into the classes (being a good friend, stranger danger, etc). We’ve been so happy with the program and are glad our youngest is finally old enough to start participating too!
July 27 · Shaina HechtCrouching Tigers is absolutely fantastic! As a childcare teacher, I’m so grateful they come to our program. My students have a blast with Sensei Kaila during karate class! Even the kids who aren’t enrolled keep asking to join in on the fun. I really love that they do a class demo every semester—it’s such a great opportunity for me to promote the program after seeing it in action myself. This program teaches so much more than just karate, which is incredibly valuable at this age. If you haven’t signed your child up yet, you definitely should!
December 19 · Lacey CoyleMy grandson loves Sensei Eliana! She’s so patient and encouraging, and he’s grown so much since starting her class. You can tell she really cares about the kids. We’re so thankful for her! Will recommend to others!
