Mr. Hawkins is wonderful with children and adults and creates a challenging and fun place to learn the art. This is really a family dojo and students are from all walks of life and ages. His instructors have years of experience and love this art as much as Mr. Hawkins. Come in and take a class, I look forward to seeing you on the mat soon !
January 29 · Ed RileyI spoke to Mr. Bryan Hawkins on the phone prior to meeting him and taking my Daughter & Son for an introduction of the Arts. Very kind & respectful man. Extremely knowledgeable and absolutely what society are missing in today's youth. Accountability Responsibility, Respect and love for the Art. So what's applied in school, also applies at home, school and in public. Good place to start your child & develop confidence all that is needed for the next chapter in his or her life.
August 30 · Thomas MartinezAfter visiting several martial arts studios in the Valley, I walked in to Granada Hills BHKK to begin a years-long, thoroughly enjoyable journey through American Kenpo. Well-trained, friendly and supportive instructors versed in grappling, sparring, forms and techniques provided a safe, but rigorous, environment for both "cubs" and adults (in fact, parents begin taking courses after watching how much fun their kids have). Way better than a gym membership!!
January 29 · Glen BeattieThe instructors are outstanding and are super good with kids. My son, my daughter and I have attended for many years. I am very thankful we were referred to Bryan Hawkins and his dojos.
