★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Adding in another review, this time of their Summer Camps! My kiddos - now my daughter (5) and son (7) - go to Aim High for the Warrior Jr program and Taekwondo. This summer we added in Summer camps and Parents Night Out, and here's my honest review of those.First, I am a parent who has had a children pass away, so, rightfully so, I am over protective and cautious about who I will leave my children with - probably to the extreme. So, we started off with Parents Night Out. Julie and Lindsay both listened to my crazy concerns, spent time to help reassure me, and made me feel comfortable leaving them there. You add in the precautions they take and "security" they provide when it comes to pick-up, allergies, etc., it made it a little easier. I would be lying if I didn't say I watched them from the parking lot for a little. After that went amazing and my kids LOVED it, we decided to try out Summer Camps. Mixed in with our summer adventures, we went to the Lego and Marvel camps (photos from the Marvel camp). My kids had SO much fun. They break them up into groups based on their age, did tons of activities (sending them home tired - YAY), and even mix in martial arts classes. The communication with the event staff was always top notch. Also, the activities/art that my kiddos came home with were super cute and a great memorabilia that they could hold on to. They made friends and memories. I would definitely recommend trying out the summer camps, PNO, school closure camps, anything they have to offer.
September 24 · Jordyn GilletteI recently joined my 6-year old kid’s class for “Dads in the dojo”, where fathers got to partner with their students on the mat. It was a fun and special experience, and one of the many brilliant ways this organization engenders community and supports child development. Our child has been attending Aim High for a year and a half, and we couldn't be happier with our experience here! We felt very welcomed from the very first by the director, John, and the amazing front desk staff that keep it all running smoothly. All of the instructors are fantastic, especially Randal Reeves and his amazing team that run the Warriors program for kids under 8. Awesome taekwondo instruction, but also great life skills in an environment that feels like a big family.
July 14 · Aaron GuffeyI cannot say enough good things about AHAMA. We first got introduced through my son’s daycare, Goddard, through their enrichment program. Mr Randall is a rockstar with kids. My once little shy caterpillar is out there boasting his little monarch wings as an orange belt in the little warrior program now. AHMA has a wonderful program and all the staff is great with the younger martial artists. They are firm but kind and really know how to get them to focus. We are so happy to be a part of the AHAMA family.
July 12 · Ashlee KwongI have only had the pleasure of taking my daughter here for the guest pass but within the small amount of time we have seen a huge difference! She loves all the teachers and the extra time and attention they spend with her. This place has the perfect mix of fun activities, martial arts and discipline. We look forward to many more classes!
August 06 · sean wakelandWe started our journey at Aim High by attending a camp during a school break. My son LOVED it. They are so well run and have really fun activities and themes for the kids. We then signed up for Warrior Junior classes. Again my son loves it. Teacher Randal could not be better with the kids. I feel really lucky he came into my sons life. He not only teaches the kids what you would typically expect in a class like this. He also teaches respect and focus and life skills that are really beneficial to kids and adults alike. We have been in Warrior Junior classes less than six months and I have seen such tremendous growth in my son. He has such passion for this sport. I cannot wait to see where he goes with the help of Aim High. The cherry on top is just how nice every staff member is there. Everyone seems so happy to be there and makes you feel welcome each and every time you walk in the door. Additionally, the facility space is incredible. Plenty of seating for parents and lots of space for the students. Everything about Aim High is just incredible. Highly recommend to all people (adults and kids) wanting to start on their martial arts journey.
