My son has been going to Action Karate Newtown since 2021. He is now almost 7 years old and has developed such amazing confidence and skills since being at Action Karate Newtown. He just did his 3rd tournament. He has won a gold medal the last two times. Doing karate has taught him so many important life skills like focus, hard work, listening, willingness to challenge himself, leadership, how to handle disappointment when he doesn't win a trophy at the tournaments, etc. Master Jay has been an amazing mentor to my son. Master Jay has the best combination of challenging him, but being encouraging and supportive at the same time. He also makes it fun! My son really respects him and looks up to him, so he wants to work harder to impress him. Action Karate Newtown and Master Jay make you feel like you're part of a great community and help teach/develop amazing skills! I highly recommend them!

Our son has been with action karate for 3 years and we love it. The instructors are great with the kids, always have enough staff to make sure class always runs smoothly. It is a good mix of physical activity and teaching values like hard-work, discipline and, of course, building true confidence
